Mattheo

I can't believe I just called her 'my girl' in front of Malfoy and Nott. God I am so fucked later. Her eyes widened at my words as well, I've definitely freaked her out.

Malfoy and Nott had now disappeared, probably to go laugh at what I just said, pair of pricks. I turned my attention back to the girl in front of me, her blonde hair in a bun on top of her head, I could see all of the freckles across her cheeks and the bridge of her nose. She looked utterly beautiful. She smiled at me, as if she knew exactly what I was thinking, I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face. "Come on darling, let's talk" I said quietly so only she could hear, she nodded and began walking in the direction of the astronomy tower, this must be her favourite spot. Except now, it's our spot.

As we reached the top of the stairs, she walked across the room and leant her arms on the railings of the tower. I walked over and stood next to her mimicking her actions, she turned to look at me and began to talk "you were right Mattheo, I've built up this wall and it's starting to crumble, I'm starting to feel everything I've put off, all of the friendships I crushed and all of the times I hit someone until they couldn't even stand up, the times I shouted at my parents and told them I wish it was anyone else who raised me....I'm feeling it all and I can't-can't cope". By the time she'd finished, there were tears streaming down her cheeks, so I pulled her body towards mine, wrapping my arms around her and kissing her head. "Listen to me Aurora, I know it feels like everything is too much, I know you want it to stop but promise me...please promise me that you will not hurt yourself" my own voice betrayed me as it broke, I couldn't cry, she needed me to be strong. "How do you know so much about this Mattheo" she spoke through sniffles, "because darling, I did the same thing, I shut everything out and when that wall fell, so did I". She pulled away and looked into my eyes and did something I wasn't expecting, she stood up onto her toes and flickered her eyes between my eyes and my lips and then she pressed her lips softly against mine. It took me a second to realise what was happening but I began to kiss back, our mouths moving in sync with eachother. It was soft and gentle and nothing like I expected kissing Aurora Decampo to be, now that I'd had my first taste, I'd never be able to stop.

As we pulled apart from eachother, I rested my forehead against hers, a small smile was resting on her lips as she closed her eyes. "Aurora, I want you to know, I'll always be there to catch you before you fall", her smile grew with my words "I know, Mattheo" she whispered.

Aurora

Me and Mattheo made our way back towards the common room, we'd spent most of our free period talking but it was worth it. Very worth it. His hand was now laced with mine and I couldn't keep the smile off my face. I heard him mumble the word 'pureblood' and then he stepped aside to let me walk in first, I unlaced our hands not knowing whether he wanted anyone to see. I wouldn't blame him, who would want to be associated with the physcotic Aurora Decampo.

My mind was immediately put at ease as he laced our fingers together again. We walked towards Draco and Theo who were sat on the sofas surrounded by a few other Slytherins, Lorenzo Berkshire and Daphne Greengrass. This made anxiety rise in my chest, had it just been the boys I know well, I wouldn't of minded but I'd never had any encounters with Lorenzo and I was almost certain Daphne didn't like me, none of the other girls did.

"Mattheo, my man" Theo shouted across the room as soon as he noticed our hands laced together and any other time I would have laughed and flipped him off. But his sudden outburst caused everyone's eyes to land on us, Lorenzo simply rolled his eyes and looked away, which I was quite grateful for. Daphne on the other hand kept her eyes on our joint hands, even when we were stood right in front of them. "Wow Riddle who knew you had enough game to pull Decampo" Draco laughed, which caused Mattheo to stick his middle finger up at him "at least I've got game Malfoy" he taunted and Draco simply chuckled in response. I was pulled out of my daydreaming by Daphne "hi Aurora" she said quietly, "H-hi Daphne" I said back just as quietly, I didn't know how to speak to her. Did she hate me? I was trying to rack my brain and figure out if I'd ever done anything to her and I was sure I hadn't.

It didn't take long for everyone to get comfortable with eachother because within 10 minutes, I was laughing with Daphne as I told her embarrassing stories about Draco. "There was this one time when I was going to talk to Theo right, so I walk to their dorm and I always just walk in so I did and...and let's just say I saw a lot more of Draco than I ever wanted to" I managed to get out in between laughs, "no way... you saw him...naked" Daphne was also laughing so hard that tears were coming out of her eyes. "Oh no, not just naked" I said and this really caught Draco's attention "Aurora, don't you dare" Draco warned, this caused all the boys to look at me and Mattheo said "wait, what's going on? How come me and Theo don't know this story", I was snorting now, "well because...Draco paid me not to ever tell anyone buttttt... what have I got to lose I already spent the money-so he wasn't just naked, he was tugging one out" I got up quickly and then jumped over the back of the sofa and ran as fast as I could. I could hear Daphne, Lorenzo and Theo all dying of laughter in the common room and I could also hear heavy footsteps chasing after me. "AURORA, I am gonna fucking murder you!" I heard Draco shout. "Draco if you touch my girl I am gonna kill you" Mattheo shouted after him.

Mattheo managed to calm Draco down after about 10 minutes and now he was just sat staring at me with his arms crossed over his chest. "Aw Malfoy, lighten up at least I didn't tell them how sm-..." before I could finish my sentence my words were interrupted by Astoria Greengrass, oh fuck, it was Astoria that didn't like me not Daphne. "Oh look, my older sister, being friendly with the evil slut" Astoria spoke, her voice filled with hate. She now moved her eyes on to me, she looked between me and Mattheo and a smirk appeared on her face. "Rumour has is that Demarco has finally chosen one, bet you had to give each of them a test run first though right?" She spoke as she winked at Mattheo. Okay, now she was dead. I jumped up out of Mattheos grip and stormed around the sofa, before Astoria had even realised what was happening, I swung my fist back and hit her straight in the middle of her face. I even heard her nose crack.
