Aurora

"Theo, Draco. Can you leave so that I can talk to Mattheo please?" I lifted my head from Mattheo's chest and looked to the two boys.

"Of course Aurora, we'll be outside" Draco said and helped Theo to his feet.

"Shout if you need me mi amore" Theo sent a small but sad smile at me.

As soon as I head the door click shut. I pulled a crying Mattheo into my arms, his head resting in the crook of my neck.

"Mattheo listen to me, I need to thank you because you saved me. You pulled me out of the darkest places. You stopped me from falling. You were-are my first love. I still love you Mattheo but I can't deny the love I feel for Theo as well. This was never meant to happen, but it has and as much as I despise the reason that it did. I can't despise the life inside of me...." My words trailed off, getting lost in the room.

Mattheo lifted his head from my shoulder. His eyes were red and blood shot, tear stains on his cheeks.

"What's going to happen now Aurora? If you're married to Theo and having his child, what is there left for us?" His words were quiet and sad.

"As much as I do love Theo and I always will love him. It's always been you Mattheo" I was crying now too.

"It's always been you as well darling but Theo, he loves you. You're carrying his child, I don't see how anything could work between us"

"Theo told me that he's always been in love with me but he saw how much I loved you, he saw how you kept me safe. I have always loved Theo too, whether it was being in love with him or just loving him. I know things are difficult but when have they not been Mattheo?"

"I love you Aurora"

"And I love you too" I rested my forehead against his.

We stood in silence, letting our words sink in. I felt like a weight had been lifted now that I'd spoke them out loud. Now I just had to talk to Theo, I was conflicted between my feelings and I wanted him to be able to raise his child, I wanted our child to know how much mummy and daddy loved eachother but I also knew I was always destined to be with Mattheo.

Third person POV

Little did she know, a teary eyed Theodore was stood outside the door. His mind and his heart battling eachother. For he wanted a perfect life with his wife and child but he also needed Aurora to be happy. He knew that she was made for Mattheo and Mattheo was made for her. In that moment he accepted that life could still be perfect even if she didn't belong to him anymore because it would mean that their child would have more people to love and more people to love them back. He knew he had to follow his mind and as he decided to do so, he felt his heart break a little bit more.

Aurora

I informed Mattheo that I needed to talk to Theo. He nodded his head slowly and placed a kiss against my head.

I opened the door to see Draco stood staring at his shoes and Theo leaning against the wall with tears in his eyes and a sad smile on his face. I knew that he'd heard every word.

"Come with me" I said gently and held my hand out to him. He laced his fingers with mine as we walked to the top of the astronomy tower.

"Theo I-..."

"Aurora, I'll always love you and I'll always love our child" he placed his hands on my lower stomach. "But you love Mattheo. I know you love me as well, I know you do but Mattheo is your soulmate and you are his" I watches as a tear rolled down his cheek.

"I don't want to lose you Theo...I-I don't want to lose you" I felt my knees go weak, my chest caving in.

Theo caught my body in his arms and lowered me to the ground. Holding my body close to his.

"Oh mi amore, when will you realise you're stuck with me, you have been since the day we laid eyes on eachother" he ran his hands over my hair.

"How will this work?" I asked through sobs.

"We will make it work. None of this is normal, how we happened, how our child happened but it was meant to be. Listen to me" he held my face in his hands and started into my eyes "our manor, is still your home and it will be Mattheo's as well, hell let's even have Draco live there too" Theo said with a small chuckle. "We are family, we've always been each others family. Merlin knows our own families are useless. We will all be, a big dysfunctional family together" he smiled widely at me.

"Theodore Nott, you have the kindest soul" I smiled back at him.

"Aurora Nott, you are the strongest, bravest person I have ever met. And I will love you for the rest of my life. Always, no matter what"

I placed my hands on the back of his neck and pulled his face towards mine, placing a soft kiss against his lips.

I wasn't sure when this all happened. When I was blessed with a family that loved me but I knew our child would be welcomed into a home full of people who would die for it. I knew they would have a father who would look after them. A mother who would kill for them. A step father who would spend his life, being the father he never had. And an uncle Draco would teach them all there was to know about the world.

As Theo held me in his arms, I knew everything would be okay. For he was my husband, my best friend and maybe he wasn't my soulmate in this lifetime, but he surely would be in the next.
