Safe- Mattheo Riddle

With this ring...

Aurora

Today was the day that I became Aurora Riddle. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. I'd been married before, but this was different, this wasn't rushed. We had taken our time planning this out to perfection.

I was stood in my room, looking at my perfectly done hair and makeup in the mirror. I could see Pansy and Daphne sat on the bed behind me laughing, Astoria came rushing into the room with four glasses of champagne.

"Here you go girls" she squealed excitedly.

I took the glass from the tray in her hands and drank the whole thing in one go. All of the girls stared at me with wide eyes.

"What?" I shrugged.

"Jesus Aur, you'll be drunk before you even walk down the aisle" Pansy laughed.

"At least I'll be confident" I snickered.

"Okay we don't have long guys, we should all get into our dresses and then we can get you into yours" Daphne pointed her finger at me, before standing up and checking on baby scorpious who was sleeping in his crib.

"Back in a moment" all of the girls said and disappeared into the bathroom, I could hear them all squabbling and I had to laugh. It was just like old times.

"Okay, are you ready?" Astoria shouted.

"Yes!" I said excitedly.

They all walked out of the bathroom, in matching green silk dresses. Slytherin green of course. They were floor length with thin straps and cowl neck.

"You all look beautiful" I said as I admired them all.

"Okay let's get you into yours now!"

The girls all helped me get into my dress. It was simply stunning. The white silk was cold against my skin, it was shimmering under the lights of the room.

It was a mermaid style dress, with a corset top and no straps. The train of the dress was as least 2 meters long.

Astoria reached up and pinned my veil into my hair. They all looked over me with tears in their eyes as I turned to look at myself in the mirror. My eyes widened at the reflection, I looked stunning.

"Wait! Shoes!" Pansy screeched.

"Shhh! You'll wake Scorpious!" Daphne exclaimed quietly.

"Sorry" pansy said and scratched the back of her head, before pulling a pair of sparkly 6 inch stilettos out of a box.

"Here" she said with a huge smile.

"Thank you" I slipped them onto my feet.

"Knock Knock!" A deep voice said from outside the door, it was Theo.

"Hang on!" Pansy said.

"This means that it's time, so we'll meet you out there okay. Don't be nervous, you've got this!" Astoria said and placed a kiss on my cheek.

I watched as they all left the room and Theo walked in. I turned around to face him with a smile on my face and his eyes wandered up and down my figure.

"Wow Aurora, you look, beautiful"

"Thank you Theo" I said softly.

"Here, this is for you" he held out a small box. I took it from his hand and opened it to see the ring he had married me with sitting inside. I'd given it back to him when we divorced and told him to keep it.

"W-what?" I said quietly.

"I know you can't wear it on that finger anymore" he pointed towards my ring finger where my engagement ring sat "but I thought you could wear it on your other hand" I smiled at his words and placed it onto my right hand instead. It felt nice to have it back.

"Thank you" my eyes started to water.

"Now come on, no crying, not yet" he held his arm out for me and I linked my arm through his.

We walked out of the room and I saw the house elf go in to take care of scorpious.

As we walked down the stairs I felt nervous. More nervous than I ever had before. All of the girls were waiting for me with smiles on their faces. I heard the music begin to play as me and Theo walked outside onto the top patio, the girls following after us.

I locked my eyes onto Mattheo and watched as he turned around and looked at me in awe. Tears were brimming in his eyes and I let a smile grow on my face as I looked at him. He looked so handsome in his suit.

I gave Theo's arm a small squeeze and smiled at him as we reached the end of the aisle. He took my hand into his and packed a kiss on the back of it and walked to stand next to Mattheo.

Mattheo took my hands into his and sent me a wink which made me narrow my eyes at him. A warning for him to not make me laugh right now.

I glanced quickly to the chairs in the front row to see Draco sat with Lucas on his lap, the little 2 year old was trying to ruffle up Draco's perfectly styled hair. I bit my lip to suppress my laugh.

I turned back to Mattheo just in time for Narcissa to begin talking.

"We are here today to witness the marriage of Aurora Decampo and Mattheo Riddle".

"The love they share is pure and they wish to join themselves together for eternity".

"Mattheo, please repeat after me"

" I Mattheo Riddle, take Aurora to be my wife. In sickness and in health, till death do us part" she sent a nod to Mattheo to tell him he could continue.

"I Mattheo Riddle, take Aurora to be my wife. In sickness and in health, till death do us part" he had the biggest smile on his face that I'd ever seen.

"Aurora, repeat after me"

"I Aurora Decampo, take Mattheo to be my husband. In sickness and health, till death do us part".

"I Aurora Decampo, take Mattheo to be my husband. In sickness and in health, till death do us part". I wasn't just smiling anymore, I was grinning.

"Now take out your rings" Narcissa spoke.

I turned around to take the ring box from pansy and Mattheo did the same, taking his from Theo.

"Mattheo place the ring on Aurora's finger and say 'with this ring I be wed"

He took the thin white gold band into his fingers and slid it onto my hand. "With this ring, I be wed"

"Aurora" Cissy nodded at me to do that same.

I grasped the thicker white gold band in my fingers and slid it on to his left ring finger. "With this ring I be wed" I spoke softly.

"I now declare you, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride Mr Riddle" Narcissa said with a smile.

Mattheo placed his hand on the back of my head and pulled my face towards his. Our lips moulded together and moved in sync. We heard loud cheers coming from behind us, we turned around to see all of our friends shouting and whistling at us.

Draco had Lucas sat up on his shoulders, he had his hands up in the air. So I blew him a kiss.

"Hello, Mrs Riddle" Mattheo spoke with a smirk in his voice.

"Hello, Mr riddle" I quipped back.

He laced his hand with mine and walked us back towards the house. Confetti flying over our heads and into the air, a soft breeze blowing over our bodies. The sunlight shining through the trees. A perfect day for a wedding.
