3rd Person POV
Bella missed school for an entire week. A week before the recent death if Charlie Swan, her father. Bella had just come back from the funeral. She knew it was the doing of that Victoria and James. And to top it off, it was 3 months after the Cullens had left her. The person she thought she had loved, left her. She had no one.The phone rang and this time Bella finally picked up. "Hello?" Her voice was strained and dry.
"Ms. Swan. It has come to my attention that it is time to read your father's will, if you are able to, I'd suggest seeing me as soon as possible, whether that be my office or your home."
Bella listened half-heartedly before grumbling. "Yeah, sure. Later at my home after lunch?"
"Yes, that is possible I will see you then. I give my condolences." And then the line was dead. Bella wanted to cry more but her tear ducts were dry. Deciding to finally take a shower, maybe at least fix herself a bit.
---
The knock on the door made Bella jump but calm down, she knew who it was so she opened it. "Hello, Ms. Swan." A girl with yellow eyes and black hair smiled sympathetically at Bella. "Hello..?" She trailed of her sentence. "Ah right, how rude of me. Maria Vialana."
"Nice to meet you, come in." Bella opened the door wider and stepped out of the way. "Excuse the mess." She mutters a little embarrassed, she half-assed cleaned the place before continuing to mope around her room. "Don't worry, I understand." Maria nodded her head once and sat on the couch, and Bella sat next to her.
"So as I have mentioned, it is time to read your father's will. He left everything to you." Maria brought out a folder and pulled out a piece of paper. "This is all he left you."
Bella scanned the paper, before her eyes widened slightly. Her father was filthy rich. Almost $50 million, 2 cars, two seperate properties and basically everything the Swans had owned. Why didn't her dad tell her?
Come to think of it, Charlie always preferred a simple life, nothing too grand and that is probably why.
"I see.. Am I old enough for this?" Bella cringed to herself, she was still 17. "Yes, Charlie was smart enough to unknowingly make Renee sign off her rights to you." Bella nodded her head in understanding.
"I just need you to sign down here." Maria pointed to the dotted down bellow. Bella took a pen from the table and scribbled her signature on it. Sealing the deal. "I look forward to start doing business with you Isabella, my family had always been partnered with the Swans for as long as I could remember, maybe even longer than that." Maria smiles.
"Please, call me Bella, I also look forward to working together." Bella smiled back, it was strained and weak, but nevertheless, a smile. "I hope you'll get better Bella, I should be going, I have some errands to do back at the office." Maria stood up, Bella followed, she opened the door for Maria. "Thank you, have a good day, Bella." And with that, Maria got on her car and drove away.
Bella sighed as she closed and slumped against it.
"Oh boohoo." Bella stood up immediately, shocked to see a red head and the ravenette on the couch. James and Victoria. Rage and sorrow built up in Bella as she clenched her fist.
They were the reason the Cullens left, they killed Charlie. They ruined everything.
Bella angrily stormed towards James and punched him as hard as she could. And in her surprise. Her hand didn't have any damage, whereas James' face cracked.
The 2 vampires were equally shocked. But James started laughing maniacally. "This is going to be fun!" He cackled as he grabbed Belle by the throat and threw her across the room. Bella harshly slammed into the wall, some framed pictures falling in the process. "Fuckin bitch." James stood up from his seat.
At the same time, Victoria pounced at her biting Bella on the neck, releasing venom unintentionally. Bella shrieked in pain and horror. She shut her eyes and tried to pry Victoria off of her, but it did nothing.
Bella felt tears start to fall from her eyes. She knew she was a gonner. Then she suddenly felt someone forcefully pull Victoria off of her. Victoria didn't have time to suck all the venom that she put into Bella's blood stream. Bella opened her eyes and saw Jacob snarling at the vampires, protectively. "Ja-"
"Stay behind me Bella, I knew I smelled leeches around here." He scowled. "They didn't bite you did they?"
Bella whimpered and it was all it took for Jacob to shift into a giant ass wolf. Bella's jaw dropped as he bit off Victoria's head. Bella could feel herself getting sick at the sight. Then James jumped unto Jacob, tearing his skin.
That's when Bella felt utmost rage, she felt her body shaking as something in her mind nagged. His best friend. Being attacked.
Kill him.
Kill him.
Kill him.
And she embraced those words and felt all her bones break and reassemble itself, along with the venom coursing through her vein, she felt pain, no. Agony.
She snarled as she grew in height, she started to walk in four legs.
"What the fuck..?" James caught sight of her before Bella bit his back and threw him into the wall as Jacob collapsed unto the floor. "You'll pay for that!" She heard Victoria's head speak on its own.
'Bella...' Jacob whimpered. Bella could hear him talk in her mind, she found it odd, like why how the hell could she hear him? But that's when she realized. She was also now, a giant ass wolf. But it was the least of her concern as she turned to the vampires in the now destroyed living room.
But they weren't there. They disappeared. Bella growled in disdain but that's when she felt herself becoming weak, she immediately passed out on the floor. The only thought that she could hear was Jacob's whimpering.
'I'm here Bella, rest well.'
