Bloody Hell

CHAPTER 22: Almost

3rd Person POV
Bella ran. Ran faster than she ever did to get to the reservation, Leah was in danger.

The scent of blood and vampires was overwhelming, her bloodlust and the urge to protect contradicted each other but she kept running on until she arrived at the beach, La Push.

There were 5 newborns, 2 of them already dead Leah and Seth were gravely injured, Seth in his wolf form and Leah in human form, Emily was tending to them the best she could while the rest of the pack were warding them off. Bell let out a loud bark that shook the earth and put up her shield around the wolves. Giving them a boost of defense, Bella herself lunged at one of the brunette newborns and started to chomp their necks, inserting her own venom.

The newborn dropped to the ground attempting to kick Bella away, she was successful but now she was clutching her neck in pain.

Bella growled at the other newborn, her and quil surrounded him, the newborn pounced at Bella, biting and clawing at her back, he was too fast. Bella howled and shook him off, she successfully did but pain coursed through her body, she could feel venom in her system. 'Go to Leah NOW.' Quil spoke in the shared link as he jumped on the newborn, Bella shook her head and grabbed the newborn's legs with her teeth, putting in her own venom, Quil got the hint and he but the vampires head and they pulled, splitting the newborn in half. 'One more to go..' Bella growled.

But a whimper from Leah and Seth snapped her out of her rage. "Bella.." Bella stopped and looked at them, it was bad, really bad. 'Sam. I know how to heal them.'

Sam chomped of the upper body of one of the weaker newborns. 'Do what you have to do.' He nodded and got back to the fight, just 1 more newborn to take down, the others were either in pieces of hurdling in pain. 'Quil, get the fire.' He commanded.

Bella shifted to her vampire form and sucked up the venom piling in the back of the throat. "I'm bringing them to Carlisle." She says before shifting again. 'Emily, put them on my back.'

"I trust you..." Emily said, albeit not as strong as a supernatural, she wasn't a body builder for nothing. When Bella double checked that they wouldn't be falling off she booked it towards the Cullen's teritory.

Carlisle was in his office when the smell of blood, wolf blood, filled his nose.

Bella arrived shortly, opening her mind to all 'Alice! Jasper! Esme! Anyone HELP!' The voices in their head was loud as Bella barked from outside. It was Esme that came out. "Bella what's.. OH JESUS CHRIST." Esme said in shock. "Come in, quickly! Boys come help!" Esme stepped aside as Emmett realized the intenseness of the situation up in seeing Bella's condition. He carried the shifted one as Jasper carried the other girl.

Bella was getting week, her shield not holding up any longer, she felt someone go under her and carry her, the amazing scent of vanilla filled her nose. 'Ali.. ce.' She spoke, it came out chopped as her shield was going on and off. "It's going to be okay, Ella. Rest." Alice, Jasper, and Emmett carried the injured wolves to Carlisle's office as fast as they could, and Carlisle was already preparing three beds and his tools, upon seeing that Bella felt relief, the pain was becoming too much, and soon she allowed herself to pass out.

A few hours later, Bella woke up, surprisingly still in her wolf form, there were bandages covering her from her upper back to her waist.

"Ella, you're awake." Carlisle perked up. 'What happened..?' She looked to the other two beds where Seth and Leah lay, passed out, except Seth was in his human form.

"I'm surprised you're still in your form." Carlisle said with genuine curiosity. Bella yawned and chuckled in her head. 'It's called stubbornness.' Carlisle let out a chuckle of his own. "How are you feeling?" He followed up. 'Better in general, though I feel weird, it's not painful, just weird.' Bella blurted.

"Ah I see, it's quite remarkable, you're recovering at a fast pace, though, I know you're not comfortable but I need you to shift back, so I can check for injuries in your human form and make sure you heal properly, though it's alright-"

'I'll shift, I trust you, but don't you dare say anything.' Bella sighed. It was finally time.
