me and mason had just got back to my flat from debbie and tony's house. i was really happy with the way that it went, i felt comfortable when i was around them, i got jas's number as well which made me feel happy because it felt like she sort of accepted me into the family. as we were driving home, heart started playing christmas songs so when we got home i forced mason to get the decorations out the loft and we spent the whole evening putting up the tree and all the little trinkets that make my flat feel way more christmassy. once we'd put up my decorations, i immediately called maddie cause i didn't get to speak to her last night.

i spoke to maddie for about half an hour longer before she needed to get ready to land. me and mase were sat chilling on the sofa watching 'come dine with me' when he pauses the tv. "my best mate dec and his girlfriend lauren are supposed to be coming round to mine for lunch tomorrow and they've been bugging me about meeting you, so i was wondering if you wanted to come over to?" he asked me "of course" i replied, i had met dec briefly before but nothing major and if i was gonna start going to mase's matches it might be nice to have a familar face. an hour later, mase went home and i got some rest before tomorrow.
i woke up at 9am which gave me two hours before i headed over to mase's. i packed myself an overnight bag because i had my first midwife's appointment tomorrow and we were gonna go together. i had a shower, got changed and it was 10:15am so i decided to get myself some yogurt and berries. i thought it might be a good idea to start filming a vlog as i was slacking on content lately and i didn't want any rumours to start going around.
"hey guys and welcome back to dani's diary. if you are new, hi my name is dani and this is my digital diary!" i began, "i feel like it's been quite a while since i picked up the camera so i thought i'd do you guys a little vlog. i'm just sat eating my breakfast, my favourite - vanilla yogurt with berries. i'm actually going to mason's in a little bit. if you guys don't know, mason is my boyfriend but he actually hasn't been on my channel before, so this will be his little debut. anyways i'm gonna leave in about 30 minutes so i'll update you when i'm in the car."
i finished my breakfast and packed up all my things before loading them in the car. i grabbed my handbag and my camera then went and got in the car. i filmed a quick clip for my vlog before putting my phone on aux, playing some one direction to hype me up and made my way to my boyfriends house. i got to masons and took a deep breath before going in. "hey babe" i said when mase opened the door, "hey dan" he said and kissed me lightly, we came inside and i put my stuff into mase's room. we went downstairs and started prepping stuff for lunch.
"so guys, i'm at mase's now, we're just prepping lunch because dec and lauren are coming over." mase came into frame and hugged me from behind, "hey everyone, i'm dani, welcome to my amazing channel la la la" he said mocking me, i giggled. "i'm making a salad and mase is supposed to be chopping bread and putting crisps into bowls but he's too busy mocking me" i said jokingly, "alright, i'm going" he said and kissed my cheek before going back to his task, "anyways, i will update you later but it's gonna be really nice!" i say and click the off button.
about 15 minutes later we heard a knock on the door. i didn't feel as nervous as i did when i met his family. i was actually kind of excited. like i said, i had met dec before but only in passing so it'll be nice to get to know him and lauren properly. we went and answered the door. dec dabbed up mason before introducing himself to me, then i met lauren, we clicked instantly and all my worries went away. we sat and ate lunch and we all got on really well. i don't think i stopped smiling.
in the evening i got out my nintendo switch and we made the boys play just dance. they were dancing to 'telephone' by lady gaga and beyonce, i think it was the funniest thing i've ever seen in my life. i got out my camera and me and lauren couldn't stop laughing, we turned the camera around so they could see what we were watching and we burtsed into fits of giggles. they tried to convince me to do it but i managed to pull the pregnancy card. to be fair, i didn't wanna be sick all over mase's carpet.
at about 7pm, dec and lauren decided to leave so after saying our goodbyes, me and mase got a hot chocolate and sat on the sofa watching gogglebox. i decided to film one last clip. "so guys, dec and lauren haven't long left, we had a really lovely evening and now we're watching gogglebox" i said, "i feel like we'd be really funny on gogglebox" mase said to the camera, "i agree - channel four, sort us out babe. anyways we're about to go to bed so i'm gonna end this video here but i love you all and i'll see you in the next one! bye!" i finished and blew a kiss, so did mase and we ended the video laughing before making our way up to bed and going to sleep.
