Author's POV
It was almost summer, the students were excited for the summer vacation that was in just 2 weeks. While some students were eagerly waiting for time to pass, some were tense as their first exams were going to start after summer vacation.
Taehyung was one of them. He had a lot of pressure from his mom as a result of that he started to spend his all the free time in the library, studying. Even during lunch he would mostly revise for tests.
"Seriously Tae, if you won't keep that book down, I know going to rip it apart " Jimin said. He was almost gritting his teeths as he was trusfrated (frustrated)
Taehyung, Jimin and Hobi were sitting at the corner of the cafeteria. While Jimin and Hobi were chatting, Tae had his nose stuck in his textbook. He hadn't even touched the food which made Jimin frustrated.
"Chim, you are not studying that doesn't mean that you won't let anyone study also " Tae replied without looking up from the book.
Before Jimin could say anything, a voice spoke from behind "C'mon shorty don't disturb my Taetae " Taehyung froze as soon as the voice made contact with his ears.
He rolled his eyes and put down his book and turned to face the owner of the voice. "Why can't you just leave me alone, you annoy the shit outta me during classes and now you are not leaving me alone in cafeteria also, I thought you hated me ko- I mean Jungkook?"
"You are right baby, I hate you, I hate you so much that I love to annoy the shit outta you " Kookie said and smirked while getting closed to Tae's face but Tae didn't even flinch a bit.
He was staring into the big doe-eyes of the younger ravenette. There was tension rising between the two males which was making Tae uncomfortable. He wished that someone could release that tension.
As if on cue Jimin's protective soulmate mode switched on and he said "Keep your face away from Tae " while lightly pushing kook away from Tae.
His eyes were filled with anger that Kookie saw and understood.
"Well I think someone couldn't afford his boyfriend being close to someone else, right Jimin-sshi? " kookie said.
Jimin looked away at the mention of that word but didn't said anything. "Jungkook, I would appreciate if you leave now. We don't want any drama here in cafeteria " this time it was Hobi who spoke.
"OK OK I am leaving, see you in class, baby " he said to Tae before leaving. As soon as he was at a distance, Tae released a sigh.
"It hurts hyung, it hurts " Tae mumbled as he was hardly holding back his tears. Jimin and Hobi couldn't see their beloved dongsaeng in such vulnerable state. "Tae ar-" "I am going back to class " Tae declared before Jimin or Hoseok could say anything.
At the classroom
"So that's all for today's class, make sure to revise well for your upcoming tests" Mrs Lee said as she concluded her lesson.
Tae could hardly understand anything that she taught. It wasn't usual for him to zone out of class but today his mind was just repeating those words "You are right baby, I hate you "
'Why are you still thinking about that Tae, it was bound to happen and you only wanted that happen right? So stop zoning out and pay attention to the class, you can't afford getting low marks ' Tae thought to himself
He looked on his left side only to be greeted with an empty bench.
'How couldn't I realised it before that Jungkook was not here, was I so drowned in my thoughts ?' He mumbled to himself
He was the thinking where the ravenette would have went, as if on cue the door barged open, getting everyone's attention.
It revealed their maths teacher, Mr Kang who was holding some student by his ears. Wait was he...
"Jungkook?? " Tae muttered as his eyes went wide.
"NOT AGAIN, JUNGKOOK! " mrs Lee yelled at the said male "HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO BUNK CLASS? AND YOU STILL DO THE SAME THING,?? GOD!! I AM FED UP WITH YOU! " Mrs Lee yelled again making kookie flinch.
"I am sorry ma'am, I promise it won't happen again" Jungkook said in a smol voice and held his head low.
Some people starting laughing or giggling at the scene but Tae didn't. He wanted to scold everyone for laughing at him but he can't do anything.
"Mr Kim Taehyung and Jungkook please come with me to the staff room, now! " Mrs Lee said and walked away.
Tae was surprised, it was Jungkook who bunk the class then why was Mrs Lee calling him too. He can't afford his parents getting a call from his school telling that their son has done something wrong. Nevertheless he followed her with Jungkook beside him.
They reached the staff room where the other teachers were quite surprised to see the perfect and good boy - Kim Taehyung following mrs Lee. Usually whenever she brings any student here, it's either for calling their parents or for giving him suspension.
"Take a seat both of you " she said after reaching her table. She took some papers out and showed them to Tae and Kook. "Mr Jungkook, I request you to please read those papers carefully " she said and Jungkook nodded. Out of curiosity Tae also peeped at his paper. His eyes went wide. It was the answer sheets of the mock test conducted Mrs Lee to check if they are prepared for the test or not. Tae looked at name it displayed.

He then looked at the marks.

"Saw it Mr Jeon? Do you want to say anything? " she asked "Well... I am honoured to be seeing my answer sheets before everyone else in the class? " Kook replied more like questioned.
Tae could hardly stifle his laugh. "YOU BRAT! " Mrs Lee yelled angrily. She took a deep breath in and tried to relax herself and then she said "I am showing you that how poor your marks are. Your mother is constantly contacting me to do something about it, she even asked if Sooyeon could tutor you "
Sooyeon, at the mention of her name, Tae felt a negative emotion in his stomach. 'What so good in that girl, why is everyone always praising? I had never liked that girl even a bit ' Tae thought to himself.
"So what did you said on that aun- I mean ma'am? " kook asked cautiously knowing very nicely that one wrong move and she could blast like a bomb.
"Well I refused her, knowing that you both are good friends and instead of studying you would engage her in other stuffs. " she said and kook could see that happening. "But after noticing your poor marks and behavior, I thought that you really need a tutor, so it's the reason why I called you Mr Kim. " She said and turned towards Tae, with a sweet smile on her lips.
"I'm sorry ma'am but I didn't understood it please say it in simple words " Tae said. "Well Mr Kim, I want you to tutor him. "
