Author's POV
It was almost dark and no one has found Taehyung yet.
It felt like he disappeared somewhere unknown. 'There is still hope left. We can find him, there is a chance that he's alright ' Jungkook repeated these words to keep himself sane.
The four of them had checked every place where Tae could be. Every library they knew, every cafe they saw and tried to call him at least a dozen times a minute. But none of them seemed to work. They even went to Tae's older brother's house to check for him. But to their utter dismay he had left their house that morning only.
Apparently, last night after his argument with his mom, Tae visited at Seokjin's house to stay for a night saying his parents are out of town and he didn't felt spending the night alone.
He left the house early morning next day saying he has school.
But the truth was he never attended school that day.
When they told him about what had happened, Seokjin could not hold himself and started shedding tears. Seeing him in such a vulnerable state, Jimin too forgot his composure and starting crying. Yoongi and Namjoon tried to calm down their respective partners. While the two of them cried their heart out, Jungkook refused to shed a single tear too, saying that if he would cry that would mean he had lost hope which would never happen.
He would keep his hopes high till the time he's cent per cent sure that there is no way left.
Namjoon offered to help them searching for Taehyung and they gladly accepted it. "I will also come and help " Seokjin had said in his not-so-stern voice. But his offer was declined seeing his condition. He could barely say a couple of sentences before stammering and tears still flowing down his cheeks. "No, listen to me in this one you are not in the best condition for this. Trust me and the others for this once. We'll try our best to find him but please you need to stay here " Namjoon has said.
"You too Jimin, you definitely don't look in the best condition for this. I would suggest you to stay here and take care of yourself and Seokjin hyung's. Please? " Yoongi had requested to which Jimin agreed without further arguement.
Jungkook, Namjoon, Hoseok and Yoongi spent the rest of the evening looking for Tae but failed yet again.
They were talking about where else could they go and search while staying a while at Jungkook's house when a sudden memory flashed in his eyes.
It was of two years ago when he and Tae used to go on small dates, they always went on Jungkook's bicycle and then on his motorcycle. First they would meet at the park near Jungkook's hou-
"THE PARK " Jungkook suddenly exclaimed and dashed out of his house, ignoring the constant shouts from behind.
'How could I forget that park? The same park where we went for our first hang out, the park where we met every weekend before going to their dates. The park where they share so many memories of each other playing on slides and swings and running around freely without any obligations or tensions ' Jungkook thought. He increased his speed. And soon enough a beautiful park with lots of trees, a big open field and a swing at it's right corner and a few more playing areas around it came to his view.
Once he entered the green field, he searched everywhere for a certain blonde.
He was panting heavily, but he didn't care, sweat was flowing like a river from his forehead, but he didn't care, all he cared was about that, he would go insane if he fails again.
It was at the very moment when Jungkook almost lost his hope, he saw silhouette of a young man sitting on a far away swing. It was dark now so he couldn't see him clearly but when moonlight shone on the silhouette, he recognised those curly blonde locks and those uneven eyelids which reflected the moonlight.
Finally his wait was over, he ran towards the swing and called out "Hyung! Taehyungie hyung! "
Taehyung wiped his tears again. It was all he was doing for the past few hours. He is lost badly, he doesn't know what to do. And the only way to keep himself calm was to visit this park and relive his most beautiful memories. He swayed the swing a little when he heard a voice desperately calling his name.
"Hyung! Taehyungie hyung! " it called out.
Taehyung halted the swing, stood up turned around and was immediately met with bone crushing hug by a badly crying Jungkook. He panicked seeing the younger in this state.
It was then, he felt the younger almost collapsing on the ground.
He tightened his grip around the brunette and made him sit on the swing by Jungkook refused to let go of him.
"Where have you been for past so many hours?? Do you have any idea how worried and tensed we were?? DO YOU?? " he cried, his voice muffled.
"Kook-I-wh..what-" he stammered
But the younger still cried out uttering incohesive sentences.
"KOOKIE RELAX! " he exclaimed
Jungkook harshly pulled away from the hug and glared at him, eyes teary. "You want me to RELAX?? AFTER YOU WERE MISSING FOR ALMOST A DAY??!? " he shouted.
Taehyung drew a deep breath and wiped out the tears staining on the younger's cheek, gently caressing it.
"Kookie, I'm very very very VERY sorry for that but please calm down, you might faint at this point. "
Jungkook too drew a breath and pulled the older for another hug this time a light one. He placed his ears against Taehyung's chest, listening to his heartbeats. Surprisingly it helped him calm down.
"I was so worried for you, we all were. " he said thickly.
"I know. "
"You have got an awful lot of explanation to Mr Kim " Jungkook informed.
"I'm aware about it and I promise I won't back down from it like a coward " Taehyung assured to which the younger chuckled.
