Chapter three

Michelle's POV

~ (still flashback) ~

Nathaly kissed Derek on the cheek and then Dylan stood up.

"I'll be right back. I have to use the bathroom." Dylan said. While Dylan was gone I saw the trash can fall and the garbage going in circles. Dylan came running with a scared look.

"Guys there's a tornado coming!" Dylan yelled.

We all got up and started running to our safe place but my phone fell so I picked it up quickly.

"Michelle! Come on!" Dylan yelled.

I started running and saw Melody following.

"Ow! My ankle!" Melody yelled. Derek helped Melody but the tornado was getting closer.

"Michelle help me!" Derek yelled.

I ran towards them and helped Melody, but the tornado was starting to lift her up a little. We tried pulling her down but we couldn't.

"Dylan! Nathaly! Help us!" I yelled.

They came running and helped us. With the four of us pulling we were able to pull Melody down to the ground. Dylan and Nathaly ran to the safe place as I followed them knowing that Derek was helping Melody.

I went inside and saw Derek there.

Weird.

Derek closed the door and that's when I realized.

There are only four of us.

Dylan.

Nathaly.

Derek.

Me.

Where's Melody?

"Where's Melody?" I asked.

I then heard pounding. I was going to open it knowing that it might be Melody but Derek stopped me.

"Don't you dare open the door. Melody is probably on the couch." Derek snapped.

This time not only did I hear pounding but I hear yelling.

"It's Melody! Help her!" I yelled.

"It's not! It's probably cars and trees! It's your imagination! Knock it off!" Derek yelled.

"No! No! No! Help Melody!" I yelled.

Then...

It all stopped.

The yelling...

The pounding...

We didn't hear anything. I turned around since I wanted to sit on the couch and I'm tired. My throat is now hurting after yelling at Derek. But as soon as I see the couch Melody wasn't there.

"I thought you said Melody was on the couch." I snapped. Derek looked at me.

"She's probably in the bathroom." He said.

The bathroom is empty.

"The bathroom is empty." I snapped again.

Dylan looked at Derek angrily.

"You fucking locked Melody out?!" Dylan yelled.

"I'm sorry I didn't know!" Derek yelled.
