koi fish

when I stood up I was blinded
koi fish in the pond of the moon
nipped at my dripping toes
who knows what it means?

but how many moons are there?
a fat one, white and fleshy
a gray one, stately and dead
now they converge, warble, still

oh! woe! woe, woe!
sorrow breathes through the kois' gills
they sink and float like
little petals in a Japanese pond

suck me into its cavernous mouth
like a kid in a candy store
cherry lollipop and stockings
oh, you little whore

infantilization and sexualization
tell me your funny little words!
koi fish, tear my heart out
i wish to hear it beat once more
