Charity and Minami Terano.

"No fucking way..."

While i made myself ready for this stupid charity thing. I searched for Jason's company. All i found were good publicity things or really scary blog things. Who can me more trusted? For all i saw, it looks like a Mafia thing. 

Not again.
No.
Not after Mayumi... died. 

I tried not to cry and thought about everything. Maybe i shouldn't do buisness in the U.S. I mean... i'm not ready to fuck everything up. I bit my lip. What should i do? Do this Charity thing and disapear into thin air? I couldn't find anything that is proven. I closed everything and put the dress on. Soon after that - Jason picked me up. 

~ 5:45 p.m, at the charity event ~

Jason didn't let me walk of alone. He was there all the time. At a table we sat down to a guy who looks like him. "Kazuha, this is younger brother. Antonio." he interduced him. "Hello." i said and shook his hand. Why does he have an italian name and Jason don't got one? Meh, who cares. "Jason, i got a MMA Fighter for our thing. He's the best! You'll like him!" he said. Jason nodded. After they talked for an hour, Antonio suddenly jumped. "There he is! The best fighter in the U.S!" he said and we turned around. My jaw dropped immediately. 

Minami... 
It's... Minami...

I hide my face as fast as i could. Minami sat down. "South, this is my older brother Jason." Antonio said to Jason. "Nice to meet you." Jason said. Minami grinned like he always did. "Same here. Tell me about your event." he said and sat down with us. I tried my best to look in every other direction. "What's wrong darling?" Jason asked and came near my face. "Oh nothing." i whispered. "Jason, your fiance doesn't look well. Is Kazuha okay?" Antonio asked. I glared to Antonio. 

But instead my glance catched Minami. 
He saw me right in the eyes. 
Not a singe emotion in them. 

I stood up and walked out of the room. Should i grab my stuff and fly back? My flight is in a week. But i could go in a cheaper hotel. I smashed the elevator button as fast as i could. "Something doesn't change. The lift won't come faster if you smash the shit outta that button." a familiar voice appeared. My head turned to the right. Minami stood there and watched me. His arms crossed. He looked like he did in 2008. "You didn't changed at all." i said and still smashed the button. Minami's eye twitched and he grasped my wrist. "Stop that." he said. "Let go off me." i said and tried to break his grip. No chance. He seems even stronger now. "You're gonna be married to a Romano? Why?" he asked. I rolled my eyes. "I won't be married to him. His fiance broke up with him. I'm just a woman who wants to make buisness here." i hissed at him. 

"With the Mafia?" 

Those words make me shiver. So the bad blog things weren't wrong at all. "I didn't knew that. Now i'm going back to Japan. Let me go and live your fucking life." i hissed. Minami didn't moved at all. "Kazuha, listen.." - "No. Fuck off you fucking piece of shit that thinks i'm responsible for Mayumi's death!" i cut him off. Normally his vein would pop up. But he didn't even flinch by my words. Suprised by that i stopped my miserable try to escape. The Elevator finally came and he pushed me in. Used a card for a room and the elevator moves up. 

"I know it wasn't your fault what happend to Mayumi. Well, after i got the record of her death certificate. I tried to find you, but Draken wasn't fine with that." Minami said. I didn't looked at him. "You weren't nice at all. After we broke up, i didn't wanna meet anyone else. Yet i found Jason. He seemed like a normal guy. Unlike you." i whispered. Minami sighes. "I'm not killing anyone now. All i do is MMA. Nothing more, nothing less. I got into it after i found the brochure you brought back than. Remember?" 

I do kinda remember something like that.
But why is HE telling ME that NOW?! 

Minami dragged me into his suite. It was a beautiful suite. "Let's just talk... about the past seven years. We're almost 30... getting old." he said. His tone was... relaxed. It felt like the good old times. I sighed and sat next to him. "I don't know about you but my birthday is on May 28th. I'm in my mid 20's." i said with a soft chuckle. Minami laughed. "Or really? I'll remember you that on your birthday." he said that like we're gonna meet again. I stood up. "Minami, we're not even in the same country. Don't say it like we see each other again." i said and tried to walk out of there. 

"You look stunning in that dress."

Those were his last words. The door was ripped out of his angles. "Kazuha! How dare you do humiliate me in front of the charity hosts!" Jason hissed and trembles in rage. My eyes widen. Minami stood up. "We know each other quite well, Romano. Unlike you we were a real couple and i wanted to talk to her. Stop being a jackass." Minami said calmer than he used to. Without a word Jason tried to hit me. Antonio gasped and tried to hold him back, but Minami was faster. He hit Jason on his temple. It made him fly against his younger brother. "Don't piss me off. We may broke up a while ago... but i don't like her being even touched by a guy." Minami said in a threatening tone. Jason tried to stand up. "But for today she's my fiance! WHO should be WITH ME!" he hissed. Antonio hold his older brother tight. "I don't want to be here. I don't want to make buisness with you... i wanna be back in Kyoto." i whispered. Antonio said something to Jason and they walked out. 

"Like good old times..." 
Minami whispered loud enough for me to hear it...
