Chapter 2

Aurora's Pov

We walked into the party arm in arm. Niall was long gone, and we probably wouldn't see him for the rest of the night.

The house was packed full with sweaty grinding bodies, and drunk teenagers. My face scrunched at the horrible smell. How did these parents not care that their kid was here? Their parents don't know just like yours don't. My subconscious reminded me.

Kayt walked me farther into the house, and I couldn't stand this place already. These girls were dressed worse than I was, and they let the boys touch them anywhere. Couples, well I'm assuming they are couples, are making out in almost every corner.

"Kayt?"she turned to me and frowned.

"You hate it don't you?" she asked. I didn't want to ruin her time.

"Oh, no. I was just going to go find Niall, and go have a seat!" I said putting on my best smile.

"Okay! He's usually over there on the couches, do you want a drink?" She questioned. I shook my head. I may be stepping out of my comfort zone, but I will not go that far with it.

I walked in the direction she pointed to the couches. I really hope that Niall is over here, and not too drunk yet, so that I don't have to deal with him. He is literally the most annoying drunk I have ever met. To my luck, he was over here, and he didn't look like he had been drinking too much.

"Aurora!!" He yelled grabbing my arm once I was close enough, and pulled me down next to him on the couch. I smiled at him, and made myself comfortable. "Oh, guys! How rude of me! This is my bestest friend in the whole wide world, except for Kayt. This is Aurora!" he said happily. I took a look around the area and noticed these were the same 4 boys I had ran into earlier today, except there were two girls with them. I shivered just being under their stares. I smiled weakly and waved a bit. They all roared with laughter. What was so funny?

"Aurora, this is Harry." He said pointing to a boy with tattoos all over him, just like Niall. He had a mop of messy curly hair on top of his head. He was built nicely, but definitely not my type. "This is Liam." he said pointing to the boy beside Harry. He smiled sweetly at me, and waved. Well he doesn't seem so bad. He had little hair, compared to the other boys, but he did have the tattoos like all the rest. He was built a bit better than Harry, but it looked like he was the best built over here. "That is Skarlett, she is Liam's girlfriend." She sat in Liam's lap and smiled brightly at me. She had long dark brown hair with lighter hair at the tips of it. Her eyes were a dark green. She was gorgeous.. "Zayn." He said pointing to another boy with a girl in his lap. He looked at me, but stayed expressionless. He had jet black hair, and brown eyes. He was definitely good looking, but his attitude does not make a good first impression. "His girl friend is Sasha." I looked at the girl placed on his lap and she smiled lightly. She had long red hair with chocolate brown eyes. She was very pretty also, and I felt really out of place. I have 0 self esteem. "And lastly, Louis." He was the one I ran into earlier. He smirked at me cockily.

These people were terrifying, and I wonder why Niall liked them so much. Did Kayt know these people? Did she associate with them? If they both knew them, why didn't I? My thoughts were answered when Kayt walked over and sat on the first boy, Harry I believe, lap. What in the world?

"Why did she just plop down on his lap?" I asked leaning over to Niall, and whispering in his ear.

"Oh, they hook up a lot." What? I choked on my spit and went into a coughing fit. I knew Kayt wasn't a virgin, but I didn't think she would do it with anyone that looks like this. I know I sound super judgmental, but the only person I am used to associating with that looks like this is Niall, and honestly if I wasn't friends with him for as long as I have been, I would have never talked to him. "Aurora? Are you okay?"
