Yoongi struggled against the leather restraints that held down his wrists and ankles, securing him to the medical cot.

He had been brought here and tied down, and was told to wait for the doctor to show up for his appointment.

Yoongi still didn't know what they meant by that: of what interest was he to some doctor?

They had taken his jacket, belt and shoes away, leaving him in just his tee shirt and jeans. Even his jewelry- a ring he kept on his finger and the metal hoops from his ears, had been taken.

He didn't know why, other than that they were just thieves.

He pulled against the thick leather with a groan, rubbing his pale skin raw.

Breathing heavily, he gave up for now. He had broken a sweat trying to escape, and all he had to show for his effort were injuries.

At least Joonie was still safe. For now. Yoongi hoped Jungkook would talk the boy out of trying to sacrifice himself for Yoongi. It was obvious that Won wouldn't let Yoongi or Jungkook go once they got Namjoon. The only thing they could do was run and hide, and leave Yoongi behind.

Yoongi prayed that Jungkook was doing that; hiding Namjoon and himself far away- and not doing the most stupid thing they could do, which was to come here. Together.

The camera in the corner blinked a steady red light at him, recording his useless struggles.

It angered Yoongi.

Once he got out of here he was going to smash every camera in this place. And then smash some faces in.

The sound of a door opening suddenly caught Yoongi's attention, and he whipped his head over to see a man in a white lab coat enter the room.

The man was older, with salt and pepper hair, and was stooped over just slightly. He had a stethoscope around his neck and was holding a clipboard.

"Well, you're the first human patient I've had in a long time." The man chuckled, walking over. "Though, that probably doesn't surprise you. My name is Doctor Lee. I hear you're part of the medical field as well."

"Let me go." Yoongi demanded, glaring.

The man sighed, like he heard this all the time and was tired of it. He sat down in front of the computer and pulled out the keyboard, typing something in.

"Let's see what we're working with here." Lee mused, clicking around. "Min Yoongi, 29 years old. Lives at 99 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul. No allergies, average height and weight, hasn't had a medical check up since, oh my, since high school it seems."

Yoongi paused, trying to glimpse the computer screen from where he was. "Is that my fucking medical record?"

The man looked around some more. "You know, you really should get a check up yearly."

Yoongi struggled harder against the straps; arching his back and twisting his body. "Let me go! I don't want anything you're going to give me! Fucking let me go!"

"Mm. Nasty swearing habit I see." The doctor frowned. He got up from the chair and walked over to the cot, standing at Yoongi's side. "Settle down, Yoongi. You of all people should know not to be afraid of needles."

"I don't need a shot, and I'm not scared of them." Yoongi glared. "I don't need or want anything from you!"

"My dear, all I'm giving you is a health exam. Checking your senses and making sure you're fit and able. All free of charge!"

"Making sure I'm fit and able for what?" Yoongi spat. "So you can make me into a hybrid too and sell me off to the highest bidder?"

The man shrugged, removing his stethoscope. "If that's what Won wants. Now be a good patient and take deep breaths for me."

He lifted up Yoongi's shirt, revealing the pale skin of his torso, before pressing the cold metal circle over Yoongi's heart.

Yoongi tried to throw him off, fighting wither renewed determination. "Get off me!"

Lee huffed, straightening up. "You have four choices, doctor. Let me finish my exam in peace, or I can put more restraints on you."

"What's the third and fourth?" Yoongi snapped. "You grow some morals and realize what you're doing is wrong?"

"No. I can drug you and complete my exam with you unconsciousness for it all. Or... I can bring Yim and his men in here and have them assist me."

"How about a fifth option?" Yoongi asked.

"What do you propose?" Lee hummed.

Yoongi leaned forward as much as he could and spat in the mans face.

The doctor calmly wiped his face off, before fixing Yoongi with a cold look.

"Option four it is."

-

"This is fucking crazy." Jungkook muttered, driving Yoongi's car. "I can't believe we're just turning you in like this."

"We don't have a choice." Namjoon looked out the window, trying not to let his fear show.

Jungkook glanced at him. "We can still turn the car around. The gas tank is full, we could make it far away before they even realized we left the city. We could hide out on Jeju Island."

"I can't relax when I know they have hyungie." Namjoon shook his head. "I have to do this."

Jungkook sighed. "I know. But... Yoongi doesn't want you to."

Namjoon didn't bother to argue, he knew Jungoook wouldn't change his mind. Just like Namjoon wouldn't change his.

-

They parked in the lot of the police station, and Namjoon's heart was pounding now.

"Let's do it fast." Namjoon said, hurrying out of the car and into the building.

"Namjoon- wait!" Jungkook cursed and raced after him.

Namjoon didn't know where to go once inside, so he approached an officer.

"Excuse me, is officer Yim in?"

The officer looked at him. "Not today. Why?"

"I need to speak to him." Namjoon said. "It's urgent."

The officer frowned. "What's going on?"

"You have his phone number, right? Since you work together? Can you call him for me please?"

Jungkook finally caught up with the boy. "Namjoon, wait-"

"Hold on," the officer said. "Your name is Namjoon?"

"Yeah, why?" Namjoon asked.

"Yim was saying something about you." The officer pulled out his phone and dialed. "He'll want to know you're here."

Jungkook felt like crying as the officer called Yim, helpless to do anything but watch Namjoon stand there bravely.

"Got it." The officer hung up, his mood suddenly different. He looked at them. "I'm going to lock you two in a cell until he gets here. Those are his orders."

"Of course they are." Namjoon wasn't surprised, following the officer down a hallway to the cell block.

Jungkook refused to let Namjoon do this alone, and stepped inside the small cell as well.

The bars shut behind them and locked, cementing in their decision.

Jungkook sighed. "Yoongi is not gunna like this."

"He'll like the freedom he gets in exchange for me." Namjoon reasoned.

He sat down on the small cot, and, with nothing else to do, waited.
