Namjoon nervously watched as Yoongi and Jungkook put away their packed clothes into the hotels dresser drawers, listening to them talk about the room. It was spacious, with two king beds and an office space.

He could tell it was expensive, and that made him feel worse.

Here he was, draining Yoongi of all his money, and forcing Jungkook to miss his college classes. He was basically destroying both of their futures. This was all his fault, Yim was only after Namjoon, not the two kind humans. If he could just find the strength to leave them-

"So what's the sleeping sitch?" Jungkook asked, flopping onto one of the large beds. "Or do we draw straws for who has to sleep in the bathtub?"

"I will!" Namjoon immediately volunteered. It would be far comfier than sleeping in a cage anyways.

"Don't be ridiculous." Yoongi put down the menu he had been browsing and picked up the phone to order room service. "Jungkook and I can split one bed, it's big enough to give each of us our own space. And Joonie gets the other bed to himself." He shot a smile to the shocked boy. "You deserve stretching room."

Jungkook was speechless too. He was going to share a bed with Yoongi- he had to shower and brush his teeth and put on some deodorant asap!

"Wait," Yoongi grabbed the boys jacket as Jungkook tried to race by. "What do you want from the restaurant? Their specialty is noodles."

"Uh, um, r-ramen." Jungkook blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

Yoongi nodded and let him go. He looked to Namjoon, who was still shocked. "And what do you want to eat, Joon?"

"You don't have to, I'm not hungry." Namjoon lied, not wanting to take more of the kind doctors money.

Yoongi narrowed his eyes, leaning back in the chair. "Namjoon."

"I'm serious!" Namjoon pleaded. "Hyung, I feel bad. Please don't."

"Please don't what? Not starve you?" He shook his head. "I'll get you their top rated ramen." He narrowed his eyes and pointed at the boy. "And you're going to eat it. As well as the fortune cookie. Got it?"

Namjoon blushed and ducked his head. "Th-thank you hyung. I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize when you don't need to." Yoongi shook his head, dialing the restaurant. "Or else I'll give you booster shots."

Namjoon giggled, venturing onto the large bed he would get to sleep on. The blankets were soft and the mattress was memory foam. He couldn't imagine how much this room cost per night. He curled up on it and clutched a pillow to his chest to cuddle.

Despite the guilt he felt at putting the two humans out like this, a part of him was glad he got to experience this. All he had ever experienced was gray walls, mean people, bland dog food and small cages.

He looked out the window at the green leaves swaying in the breeze under a cloud less sky. Night was approaching, and one by one the skyline was lighting up with building lights and signs. It was pretty.

After all the driving they had done today, Namjoon felt his eyes slowly closing, and didn't realize he was falling asleep until he was already out.

-

Yoongi hung up the phone with a small huff. He ran his hands through his hair. "The restaurant doesn't do delivery. I gotta go pick it up."

There was silence, and Yoongi looked over to see Namjoon had curled up and gone to sleep.

Smiling, Yoongi turned off the lights but kept a lamp on so that Jungkook could see when he got out of the shower. He pulled the covers over the sleeping boy and tucked him in.

He grabbed his car keys and knocked on the shut bathroom door. "Jungkook, I'm stepping out for a minute to grab the food. Watch Joonie, okay?"

The water shut off. "Wait, Yoongi, let me go with you!" The student called.

Yoongi chuckled. "Hush, you'll wake Joonie. And I don't need an escort, it's only five minutes away. I'll be back soon."

The door cracked open and a shirtless Jungkook with wet hair peeked out. "Are you sure? I can be dressed in like two seconds."

"I don't want to leave Namjoon alone." Yoongi shook his head. "Besides, they're after him, not me. He needs to be with one of us at all times."

"Okay..." Jungkook didn't seem convinced. "But keep your phone unlocked and with the police dialed at all times."

"Okay." Yoongi chuckled, endeared at how the younger boy was so concerned about him. "I'll text you when I'm heading back."

Jungkook watched the doctor leave, still not liking this. But then his stomach rumbled and he decided that Yoongi would know how to take care of himself.

Besides, they had driven for ages and doubled back multiple times and took random turns, as well as used a fake name to check in and paid with cash. There was no way they had been followed by Yim or anyone else.

He sat down on the bed Namjoon was sleeping on, being careful to not wake the boy.

With a sigh, he picked up the menu and browsed it as he waited for Yoongi to come back.

"Damn," he muttered to no one. "I should have ordered the soup."
