Shingeki no Kyojin

Chapter Eleven

We arrive at the mess hall and people swarm me asking if I was okay. I suddenly get an anxiety spike and I look around. "I'm fine-" Hange and Eren notice and tell them to back up. They back up and leave me alone until Ymir runs over and hugs me. "You idiot! When they told me that you were in critical condition I thought I was going to lose you and you're like a little sister to me." I hug Ymir back. "I'm sorry I scared ya." I get escorted out of the mess hall and back to the infirmary to rest but I deny and say I'm fine. They sigh and then we get the message that Wall Rose has been breached. I get back up quickly and wobble "Let's go!" I hear a bunch of collective sighs and I turn around. It was Levi of course... "What now?" "If you're going then you're going with me, Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Four eyes, and the priest got it?" I don't answer him. Then I realize something. "Priest? What Priest?" I sigh when I don't get an answer from Levi. "Let's just go." I follow them as we walk to the wagon and I'm helped up by Hange and Eren. I sit beside Eren and look at the sky. I didn't even notice the priest was looking at me until Eren said something.
"Stop looking at her like that." I look at him giving my signature glare. The priest speaks up. "You look like her from that legend." "What legend?" I ask confused. "There's a legend that a girl of your demeanor and beauty would be the one to stop the end of the world from happening with their Titan." Silence so loud that the wagon wheels sound like thunder. I look at my legs. They were looking better now than they were earlier. I look back up at the Priest. "I'm going to need you to clarify what the hell you mean." The Priest doesn't answer. I look back up at the sky. "Why are we taking a wallist priest with us?" I hear Armin ask. "That's what I would like to know." I say softly. "Oh Nick and I are buddies! Right?" The Priest who I now know is Nick keeps quiet. "He knew there were Titans in the walls. But he kept it a secret until now." My eye twitches and I lunge at Nick. "What the hell?! You knew some very valuable and life saving information and you chose to keep it?! Eren's life depends on our success!" I get pulled back by Eren and Armin. "Kumi! Calm down your still injured!" I clench my jaw giving Nick a cold and unnerving glare. Nick stares back at me. I roll my eyes and lean against Eren. "Kumi get some sleep, you're still regenerating even after all this time so you're going to need rest. I'll wake you up if we need you." I give a slight nod and lay down laying my head in Eren's lap and I fall asleep. I remember waking up on the wall. "Wha- Hey! You said you'd wake me up if you need me!" Eren helps Reiner up the wall. "Sorry Kumi you needed to rest besides you were too cranky." I huff. And get up then I notice Ymir. "YMIR!" I run over to her and drop to my knees. "What the hell did I miss?!"
Historia was talking to Hange "Ymir revealed who she was to save us! I know her! She's not as complex as she looks! Kumi can even vouch for Ymir! They're practically sisters!" I sit beside Ymir holding her hand. I then get up and walk over to Eren not wanting to be separated from him. We started walking when Reiner said something. "Eren. We need to talk about something." We both turn around. "Reiner, you know me better than that. You know I won't let you." Reiner shakes his head. "I'm The Armored and Bertolt is the Colossus. And Kumi is the Devil." "What?" I stand beside Eren. "Don't even think about it." "Kumi come on! Our goal was to wipe out humanity! But now... There's no need to do that anymore." I stand there in a state of shock and panic. "Eren if you come with me, Kumi, and Bertolt we won't need to destroy any more of the walls. Understand?" I clench my fists. "Eren-" Eren interrupts me. "What?! Wait up! I don't understand!" "I'm telling you to come with us. It's sudden but you need to come now." "Right now?! Where are we going?!" "I can't tell you that... But well I guess you would call it our hometown..." "Reiner enough!" I say I had enough of hearing my twin try to convince Eren to join him. "What do you mean enough Kumi?!"
I clench my fists again. "I mean it Reiner. Eren has people that he cares about here!" "And you're one of them! If you came back home we could bring Eren home!" I shake my head. Then Eren says something and I look at him confused. "Listen Reiner you're just tired right Bertolt?" Bertolt spoke up. "Yeah that's right!" Then Reiner does something I will never forget. He decides to fight. He pulls his arm out of the sling and regenerates it. "Reiner?! Are we doing it?! Here?! Now?!" "Yeah we fight here! We decide this right here right now!" I rush at them. "No y'all don't!" I draw my blades and out of the corner of my eye see Mikasa go to cut them. She manages to cut them and I tackle Eren to the ground, shielding him with my body as Reiner and Bertolt transform. The steam burns my back and I grit my teeth in pain. We get grabbed and I start yelling. "REINER YOU IDIOT! I'M NEVER GOING BACK I LOVE THIS PLACE I LOVE THESE PEOPLE! I DON'T CARE IF I'M SEEN AS A TRAITOR BECAUSE I WILL SACRIFICE MYSELF FOR THEM!" I look at Eren as he yells "Reiner... Bertolt... You... TRAITORS!" He bites his hand and transforms. I get sent flying and I bite my hand transforming. I skid across the ground and roar loudly. Eren roars as well. We start fighting together. I try to distract Reiner so Eren can punch him. It doesn't work and I get hit. I roar and slide across the ground. We keep fighting until Eren pulls the same move Annie did to him when we were trainees. Reiner breaks free again and tackles Eren. I get up regenerating. I watch as Eren once again gets Reiner in that hold and I run over and help. Then it happens... We get taken down by Bertolt falling from the wall knocking us out.
