Chapter - 01

In Cloud Recesses

A young boy around of 17 years old was sitting beside a window in his room. He was looking outside the window while enjoying gentle breeze. He had a soft smile on his face as he closed his eyes to feel the breeze on his face.

Suddenly, the door of the boy's room opened and a young girl came inside the room while shouting as she carried a medium sized wooden box.

"Yibo gege, Yibo gege." The girl called the boy excitedly.

The boy who was none other than Lan Yibo aka Lan Bo opened his eyes and turned to the girl who was his younger sister Lan Lusi.

"A-Si, didn't I tell you knock before entering my room." Yibo said while frowning.

"Sorry." Lusi said and Yibo sighed.

"What happened? Why were you shouting earlier? You know shouting is forbidden in Cloud Recesses, right?" Yibo asked and Lusi pouted.

"Sean gege sent gifts for you." Lusi said and giggled.

"What gifts?" Yibo asked curiously.

"I don't know. He just sent this box. I can't open it." Lusi said while pouting and gave Yibo the wooden box.

"Sean gege is becoming more cunning day by day. At first he sealed the letters he sent you and now he started to seal gift boxes too." Lusi said while pouting and Yibo giggled.

"That's because you are violating our privacy." Yibo said.

"Hey, you can't say that." Lusi said and Yibo giggled again.

"Now go." Yibo said while pushing Lusi outside his room.

"Can I stay." Lusi said cutely.

"No." Yibo said as he pushed Lusi outside his room and quickly locked the door.

"So mean." Lusi said and stomped his feet before going away from there.

Sean used to send Yibo letters and gifts after they confused to each other three years ago. Everytime they sent gifts for each other, their siblings would stole these and read their letters which made them embarrassed. Later Sean started to use his father's talismans to seal their letters so that other than them no one could read their letters.

Yibo sent on his study table and opened the box with his spiritual energy. He found some of his favourite sweets and snacks with a letter.

Yibo opened the letter and started to read it with a smile on his face. He was eagerly waiting for his gege's letter.

My lovely Bobo,

How are you doing? Are you waiting for my letter? How is your days going? Well, I should stop asking questions now. You must be wondering why I sealed the gift box. In your last letter, you complained that your nephew and Lusi ate most of your sweets which I sent you. That's why this time I sealed the box. Now, they couldn't eat all of it. You don't have to share the sweets with them. I have sent some sweets for them still I know they will come to you with pitiful faces.

Yibo giggled as he read half of the later. His gege knew about his sibling and nephew's anties. Yibo started to read the letter again.

By the way, in two weeks, you will turn 18. Mama and baba are thinking about exchanging betrothal gifts for our marriage. It's high time, we should get married now. What do you say? Are you excited for our wedding? What am I even asking? Of course, you will be excited. I am very excited to make you mine. I can't wait to live with you, hold you in my arms, fall asleep with you in my embrace and wake up and see your angelic face. Finally my wait would be over.
