Lan Yibo was eating sweets while sitting in the backyard of his counter. Suddenly, Wei Lanxin came out of nowhere and sat opposite of him.

"Lanxin jie, you scared me." Yibo said as he was startled by Lanxin's sudden appearance.

"I am sorry, Bobo. I didn't mean to scare you." Lanxin said and poured herself a cup of tea.

"Where have you been these days?" Yibo asked as Lanxin drank the cup of tea.

"I was chasing after my alpha." Lanxin said.

"You are really chasing an alpha?" Yibo asked and Lanxin nodded her head.

"I am chasing a very handsome alpha." Lanxin said and giggled.

"But Lanxin jie, you are an alpha yourself. Shouldn't you chase after an omega?" Yibo asked and Lanxin frowned.

"What's wrong for an alpha to chase another alpha?" Lanxin asked.

"It's not normal." Yibo said and Lanxin frowned.

"So what? Both of my parents were alphas. Well, one of them turned to an omega because of a curse still they were alphas when they fall in love with each other. I think I inherited it for them and like alphas not omega." Lanxin said and giggled.

"You like alphas?" Yibo asked and Lanxin nodded her head.

"I only like male alphas not female alphas." Lanxin said and Yibo nodded his head in understanding.

"It's rare for alphas to marry other alphas." Yibo said and Lanxin nodded her head.

"You are right." Lanxin said and started eating sweets.

"If you marry an alpha, you can't have children." Yibo said and Lanxin frowned.

"Who said that? Female alphas can get pregnant. But it's rare." Lanxin said.

"You said that it's rare." Yibo said in a low voice.

"It's okay. If I can't have my own children, I can adopt helpless children and give them a home." Lanxin said with a smile and Yibo kept quiet.

"Love is more important in a relationship than having children, Yibo. I will be happy as long as I can spend the rest of my life with my love ones. Children are important in life but if I have children out of obligation but not love then it will make things difficult for me and my children too. So, I am ready to be childless in exchange of spending the rest of my life with my mate." Lanxin said.

"What if your mate love children?" Yibo asked while looking down.

"We can always adopt children." Lanxin said and Yibo looked up at him.

"There are countless homeless children in the world. We can adopt a few of them and give them a family. In exchange, we can have children to fulfill our dream." Lanxin said and stared at a distance.

"You know Yibo, once my father was a homeless child. He used to live in streets until Former Sect Leader Jiang found him and took him in. My father knew how it feels like to be homeless that's why he adopted Sizhui gege. He even took in many homeless people in our sect. Most of our disciples were orphans. Father and Mother took them in and gave them a home." Lanxin said and turned to Yibo.

"You are worried about of not having children. Do you know, Father loves children but knew that he couldn't have any children as he was in love with Mother who was also an alpha like him. Still he didn't stop loving Mother. He adopted Sizhui gege as his son which fulfilled his dream of having children." Lanxin said and held Yibo's hand.
