Everyone from the Lan family including Lan Bing was standing in front of Lan Qiren. Lan Lusi explained everything to him.

"I am truly disappointed at you, Lan Xueyi." Lan Qiren said.

"I am sorry, Grandfather." Lan Xueyi said and lowered her head.

"If we are wrong then Lan Lusi is qlso wrong. She was eavesdropping us." Bing said.

"I wasn't. Recently, Yibo ge was not in good mood so Mother tell me to took him for a walk. We were enjoying ourselves when we overheard you two were badmouthing my gege." Lusi said.

"Wasn't you alone in the garden?" Xueyi asked.

"No, Yibo gege was with me. He left because he couldn't bear your harsh words." Lusi said and glanced at Lan Yibo who was standing beside Lan Guanyao.

"See Lusi, we were badmouthing Lan Yibo. We were just stating the facts." Bing said arrogantly.

"You were badmouthing and gossiping about Yibo gege behind his back." Lusi said angrily.

"And you were eavesdropping us with your Yibo gege." Bing said.

"All of you are at fault. So, all of you will get punishment." Qiren said.

"But Uncle, Yibo and Lusi just overheard them. You can't punish them for it." Guanyao said.

"Lan Bing is our guest. We can't just punish him." Lan Xichen said.

"Even though, the words Xueyi and Bing said we're harsh but they were true. They were just discussing a matter which Yibo and Bing overheard. I think it's just a coincidence. We should let it go." Lan Xiang said and Yibo just stared at him.

Yibo didn't expect Xiang to support his wife and sister-in-law. He was hurt by his brother's behavior. But what could he expect from his brother. Xiang was an alpha and his first priority would be to protect his omega which he did. Yibo couldn't do anything about it but felt bitter.

"Wow, brother, just because you don't want your omega to get punishment, you are ready to hurt your brother. Wow, what a great elder brother!" Lusi said mockingly.

"Lusi, it's....." Xiang was about to say something but Yibo interrupted him.

"Brother is right, Grandpa. Sister-in-law and her sister were just stating the facts about my future married life with Zhan ge behind my back. They weren't gossiping. They were discussing about it. They didn't break any rules. I and Lusi didn't overheard them. We eavesdropped them. So, we deserve punishment not them." Yibo said which surprised everyone.

"Gege, you...." Lusi stopped talking as Yibo glared at her.

"As we broke the rule, so we will copy the rule book for 100 times as a punishment. I will also kneel down on the ancestor hall for a shi as I failed to guild my sister." Yibo said.

"Yibo, you don't need to do it." Xichen said worriedly.

Yibo didn't say anything to his father. He just bowed to his elders and left from there with his head held high.

"Now, you all must be happy." Lusi said and hurriedly followed Yibo.

"All of you just want to hurt my son. No one can see him happy. Everyone is just here to criticize my son." Guanyao said angrily.

"Xichen, tell Yibo that he doesn't need to take any punishment. I will let this incident pass." Qiren said.

"Of course, Uncle let it pass because if he doesn't then he has to punish his favourite granddaughter-in-law. But Uncle don't worry about it. No one will blame you as Yibo said all fault was my children's, others were innocent." Guanyao said and left from there.
