Wei Zhan and Lan Yibo were praised for their performance on the competition. They were most praised for organizing the banquet and the competition. All of their family members and friends were happy for them. But not everyone was happy, some people were very jealous. Some even were resentful to Yibo.

At the last day of the competition, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji arranged a banquet to celebrate their children's success. All the guests participated in it. After the banquet, most of the guests left but some stayed in the palace to spend a few more days.

In a guest quarter, a few omegas and betas had gathered. They were gossiping about various things while having tea and snacks.

"Wei Sean is the first son of Yiling Patriarch and Hanguang Jun. He will be the future leader of Yiling Wei Sect." Madam Liu said.

"But the first heir of Yiling Wei Sect is Wei Sizhui." Zeng Lin who was male omega said.

"Wei Sizhui is Yiling Patriarch and Hanguang Jun's adopted son. Even if he is the first heir, he wouldn't be the successor of Wei Sect." Madam Ye said.

"You are right. Wei Sizhui has been married off to another alpha." Madam Liu said.

"So what isn't he stay here with his alpha?" Madam Meng asked.

"I heard that Sect Leader Yang proposed his omega daughter's marriage for Wei Sean but Yiling Patriarch and Hanguang Jun rejected his proposal." Madam Zhang said.

"Why would they let his son marry into a minor sect? They would marry their son in a major sect." Madam Ye said.

"Don't say like that. Yiling Patriarch and Hanguang Jun loved Wei Sizhui very much. He is their first child even if he was not their biological son." Zeng Li said.

"If Yiling Patriarch and Hanguang Jun loved Wei Sizhui so much then why did he let Wei Sean arranged the competition instead of Wei Sizhui?" Madam Liu asked.

"Even if Wei Sean arranged the competition, isn't Wei Sizhui one of the judge?" Madam Lin asked.

"You said that Yiling Patriarch and Hanguang Jun didn't want to marry their biological son in a minor sect. Then why did they marry their third son Wei Hailan to Zhang Bing." Madam Ye.

"Isn't Zhang Bing from your sect, Madam Zhang?" Madam Lin asked as she turned to Madam Zhang.
