"*Whatever they're thinking*" = Thoughts <3

Nobody's POV:

Atsushi and Akutagawa had gotten together a few months ago, Atsushi had confessed his feelings to Akutagawa while they were sat in a local flower garden (this will be important later on) and Akutagawa quickly accepted. Now it was Valentine's Day, and the two lovers were stressed to make everything perfect.

Akutagawa POV:

My alarm hadn't gone off, so I was already late enough. I put on a dark red dress shirt with a black tie and pants, the jacket was a dark gray with red embellishments. I slide on the promise ring from Jinko and a a few other accessories. I fix my hair in the mirror, wave goodbye to Gin before running out of my apartment.

Atsushi POV:

I had everything planned out to make Valentine's Day perfect for Ryuu. I had a dinner reservation at his favorite restaurant, his favorite chocolates, and a few other gifts. I pull on a lilac dress shirt, white jacket and pants with a pale purple tie. I slide on my promise ring and a small bracelet. I yell a goodbye to Kyouka and run out of my apartment.

Nobody's POV:

The two were stressed, determined to make this Valentine's Day perfect for the other. Atsushi had a dinner reservation, Akutagawa's favorite chocolate and a ruby pendant necklace, the final gift hidden in a small, velvet box. Akutagawa had Atsushi's favorite flowers, some candy, a lilac hairpin and a final gift hidden in a similar velvet box.

Atsushi POV:

I nervously fidgeted with my fingers, I was sat at the table of Ryuu's favorite restaurant, waiting for him to arrive. As I heard the door open, I glance up and my breath caught in my throat. Ryuu walked in, his hair was much more neat, the white tips brushing against his cheek, his usually dull eyes holding a spark of excitement in them. He wore a stunning, black and red suit with a matching jacket, and a stupid smile spread across my face seeing him wearing the promise ring. "He actually kept the promise ring?" My heart fluttered in my chest as a crimson blush formed on my cheeks.

Akutagawa POV:

I was tense as I walked into the restaurant, trying to appear as confident, but that immediately faltered when I saw Jinko. His hair was as messy as always, but it was adorable. His purple eyes had that same honey glimmer, and were overflowing with love. "He looks amazing." He was wearing a white suit with a lilac dress shirt and pale purple tie. A small smile tugged at my lips seeing the promise ring, my hands reaching down and fidgeting with my cuffs as I approached the table.

Nobody's POV:

The two lovers smiled at each other, they looked nervous but happy. As they reached to grab a menu, their hands brushed against the other's for a second, leaving Atsushi flustered and apologizing and Akutagawa frozen in surprise.
"I'm sorry Ryuu it was an accident please don't kill me!"
"It's fine Jinko. Calm down. It felt nice, don't worry."
Atsushi immediately fell silent, grabbing Akutagawa's hand under the table. The two lovers smiled as their fingers intertwined, their grip not too loose to let go but not too tight to hurt.

Akutagawa flags down a waiter and the two order a bottle of wine to split. Akutagawa orders steak and Atsushi orders tea on rice.
"You're obsessed with tea on rice Ats- Jinko."
"Hah! You almost said my name!! You almost said it!"
"Oh shut it! It was an accident!"
The waiter just looked confused, quickly running off to put in their orders.

After a small wait, they both get their food and the bottle of wine. Atsushi reaches out to pick up his glass, but knocked it over and spilled it on his suit jacket. His once content eyes were now wide with worry as he looked at the dark red stain.
"Oh god! I'm sorry Ryuunosuke, I spilled my wine!"
While Atsushi panicked, Akutagawa slipped off his jacket and walked behind Atsushi, sliding the stained jacket off of his shoulders and replacing it with his. "Ryuu? What are you doing?"
"I'll be fine without a jacket, I'll use Rashoumon if I must."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"Thank you!"
Atsushi's smile quickly came back as he pulled the jacket tighter around him, taking in the scent of Akutagawa's Cologne. It smelt like Cherry Blossom and Jasmine.

Akutagawa POV:

"He looks so pretty in my jacket.." He really did. The sleeves were slightly big since I was taller, but Jinko looked adorable nonetheless.
"You look adorable in my jacket Jinko."
"Huh? Really?"
I heard him ask, taking note of the red blush spreading across his face from the compliment.
"Yes Jinko, don't question it or I'll take the compliment and my jacket back." I smiled slightly seeing him quickly shut up and pull the jacket around him tighter.

Atsushi Pov:

I quickly pull the jacket around me tighter, not wanting him to take it back. I could feel my face warm up seeing his small smile. "His smile is beautiful." I thought to myself, before taking a deep breath. I could hear him holding in a laugh, I assumed he'd seen my face flushing red again.

"Jinko, you're bright red!" He yelled between laughs, cathing the attention of a few other customers. "Shush Ryuu!" I muttered, pulling my hand from his and hiding my face. I could see his smile falter feeling my hand slip from his.

Nobody's POV:

The two then quietly eat their food and drink their wine, the atmosphere was now awkward and thick with tension. Akutagawa finished eating and wiped his mouth clean with a napkin, Atshushi doing the same a few minutes later.

"I have one last surprise for you Atsushi." Akutagawa says with a smile, leaving money for the food on the table before helping Atsushi up. Akutagawa places his hands over Atsushi's eyes before leading him out of the restaurant and down a few streets.

Atsushi POV:

Ryuu's footsteps slowly stopped, I took a note of the scent of roses I could smell. Akutagawa let go of my hand and I could hear him looking for something in his pockets. His hand moved from my eyes as I slowly opened them.

Akutagawa's POV:

I smiled seeing the shocked expression on Jinko's face as he stared down at me on one knee, a velvet ring box in hand and the local flowers garden behind me where he'd first confessed to me. His eyes glazed with happy tears as I watched him get onto one knee and pull out a similar looking, velvet box. Jinko slowly opened it to reveal the ring inside. I felt my breath catch in my throat, my heart thumping against my chest rapidly. That's when we both sank onto both knees, holding each other in our arms, happy tears running down our faces.

Atsushi's POV:

I took a deep breath, looking into Ryuu's tear filled eyes. "Akutagawa Ryuunosuke, will you make me the happiest weretiger alive and be my husband?" I yelled, my hands shaking as I raised the velvet box to his face. [Atsushi's ring description: It was a Celtic Trinity Knot Ring, made of Sterling Silver. Rather than a Diamond, it was a Ruby, cut into a small heart shape.] "Yes!" replied Ryuu, as I slid the ring out if the box and onto his finger.

Akutagawa's POV:

Feeling the ring slide into my finger, I raised the ring box in my hand and asked the same question. "Atsushi Nakajima, will you make me the happiest man alive and be my husband?" I asked, feeling a tear slip down my cheek. [Akutagawa's ring description: It was made of 9ct white gold, featuring a Rose De France, along with sparkling diamonds. The gem was also cut into a heart shape.] "Of course!" I heard Jinko yell, as I slid the ring onto his finger and pulled him back into my arms.

Nobody's POV:

The two lovers lay amongst the flowers for a while, looking at the soft, pink and purple sunset with a smile on their faces. Akutagawa slips an orchid into Atsushi's hair. "You look beautiful." Comments Akutagawa, leaving Atshushi blushing slightly, before slipping a black rose into Akutagawa's hair. "Not as beautiful as you, Ryuu." He whispers, as the two lovers cuddled in the flower garden under the sunset.
