The Sin Of Love (Fyolai)

A/N: This is a Fyolai fluff oneshot! It may start off sad, but it does have a happy ending! But, for anyone who wishes to have an angst ending, there is one if you choose to read it! Warning, they might be a bit out of character, and I plan to maybe have them speak Russian once or twice, so if it does happen, English translation will be in the brackets!! I don't know Russian,so I use a translator, if it's incorrect I am extremely sorry! <3

Nobody POV:

The two were sat in the DoA base, Nikolai layed in his room, Fyodor working in his own.

Nikolai was layed on his bed, trying to determine how he felt about Fyodor.

"My heart always beats faster when he's close. Is it.. love? No. No it can't be. I'm supposed to kill him, for freedom! This is probably just some stupid mistake, I can't love him! Can I?.."

Nikolai had never understood the concept of love, he never showed it, nor did he receive it. He always assumed Fyodor was his friend, and that's why he acted differently towards him. But what about Sigma? He classes him and Sigma as friends, but his heart doesn't race around Sigma. Only when he's around his Fedya.

Ugh, it was all too much to think about. He hated trying to understand his feelings. Whenever he thought of killing Fyodor for freedom, while part of him was excited to gain the freedom he'd always dreamt of, something inside him ached at the same time.

Nikolai groaned, getting up from the bed and putting on his usual mischievous grin. He skipped out of his room and down the hall, kicking the door to Fyodor's room open and running in.

"Fedya!!"
"Hm? Oh, hello my dear Kolya. What's with the sudden intrusion?"
"No reason! I just missed you!"
"Not possible. You're always here for a reason. Whether it's to try to persuade me to participate in one of your quizzes, or to try kill me. So what's the real reason Kolya?"
"Oh my! Fedya was wrong for once!"
"I don't believe I was Nikolai. Now tell me my dear, what's the reason for your loud entrance."
"Well, you were partly wrong! I'm partly here because I miss you, but also because I need to talk to you."
"Ah, I knew it. What's on your mind Kolya, come sit and talk."

Nikolai sits down, he looks a lot more worried than before. Fyodor sits in front of him, slightly concerned at the sudden worry.

"Kolya? You look worried my dear. Did something happen?"
"Fyodor. I think something's wrong with me."
"Of course there is my dear Nikolai, why do you think we work so well together?"
"No. Like, something wrong with my feelings."
"How so?"
"I don't.. Want to kill you anymore."
"My my, this is quite the change in attitude. What's caused this, hm?"
"I believe I'm sick. I've been plagued with something that other's call love."
"Love for whom? I honestly didn't believe a jester such as yourself was capable of understanding or feeling such an emotion."
"I don't think I can tell you Fedya. I can imagine what you'd say."
"My dear, you've never feared my opinion on things like feelings before. You've only ever worried if it was something many would class a sin."
".."
"Nikolai. Why aren't you answering. You fell silent when I said sin."
"I can't tell you. Fedya will be mad."
"Nikolai tell me."
"No."
"Николай Гоголь, если ты мне сейчас не скажешь, я, не колеблясь, вынужу из тебя ответ»." ["Nikolai Gogol, if you don't tell me now, I won't hesitate to force an answer out of you."]
"Fedya I can't-"
"Nikolai tell me!"
"It's you!"
"What?"
"The feeling that's plagued me. The feeling of love, it's tied to you. The sin I have committed, love towards another man."
"Kolya. My dear Kolya. You know how I feel of committing sins, don't you?"
"Yes. That's why I didn't want to answer."
"Loving another man is a sin Nikolai. It's unfortunate, but a sin. I wish you were a girl."
