He eyes her slowly with the softest look on his face before turning to Madame Eloise. "Pepare a private booth for me and her." Shocked to the core, Madame Eloise laughed nervously. "Are you sure s-"

"Did I stutter, Eloise?" Shaking her head, she quickly rushed everyone to their station. Madame Eloise then apologized to the audience, who immediately went back to their dates, dinners and deserts. "Excuse me sir, I'll be right back." She nods once and rushed to prepare a private booth.

Ellie felt more relaxed, even though she still felt a few eyes on her, she had hers on the man who gazed at her. Her breath hitched when he took a step forward, but immediately he froze once he took note of it. "There's no need to be afraid of me. I won't hurt you." He raised his hands in surrender.

"You must be hungry, yeah?" the man before her said softly, before he smiles at her, which seemed genuine. "Would you like to come with me, Ellie? You can have anything you want..."

The hesitation in her eyes said it all. Ellie was afraid, and completely confused. She didn't understand why was he being so nice to her. Like, she didn't even look attractive at that moment. With her rusty brown hair all over in a nest. Face with slight dirt. Her jeans worn-out and shirt torn.

Why would he help me? She thought, confusion in her eyes as she glared at the hand that came up. Outstretched in front of her. He is broad, really masculine. Very tall and not to forget, utterly handsome.

His strong cologne still held on, striking and destroying but blessing her nostrils. The need to sniff him intensified. It nearly had her loosing her mind. She stared questioningly at him as he patiently waited for her to say something or at least grab onto his hand.

With time, and minutes of staring into each others eyes, she finally took his hand and intertwined them. Her whole body shivers in this sudden foreign feeling of tingles. To have his hand in hers left her heart beating a bit too fearlessly.

Satisfied with this, he dragged her along with him with a small tug toward a door few steps away.

Nodding excitedly, She beamed. "Y-yes. Please."

"Come." He held her hand softly, before leading her to goodness knows where. She slowly trailed behind him, her eyes on his hand which wrapped around her wrist. Intense butterflies overtook her entire body and she released a breathless sigh.

Grabbing a chair, he pulled it out for her and helped her sit before taking his own seat in front of her. Ellie avoided his intense stare and instead she gazed around her. Taking note of everything which was mesmerizing.

They were in a round booth that practically hide them from the others. It also had the best view of a fountain right outside. She smiles, intertwining her fingers and biting down on her lip.

"I'm Romeo." She snapped her eyes back to the man, she'd forgotten was sat just in front of her. Gulping, her gaze dropped to her fingers and they started shaking slightly.

Ellie nods, feeling overwhelmed with how he stared at her. He looked at her like she was a strange creature. Like he was trying to understand her, which she didn't want.

Her breath was held until he spoke again and she finally inhaled. "How old are you, Ellie?" Romeo asked, gazing at the claw marks on her exposed arms. He refrains himself from grabbing her arms, instead bites down on his tongue.

"T-Twenty-two." She whispered loud enough for him to catch. Quickly stealing a look before looking down at her hands again. As he hummed in acknowledging her words, she couldn't help exhale shakingly.
