Atsushi pov

I was taking ranpo to a cafe because he wanted something sweet, I realized he walked kinda fast then me, not like I mind the little bear reminds me of a 6 year old sometimes

What he is trying to say that ranpo is smart and a dumbass like a Lego man

At least I don't get to see dazai because uh we kinda fought about something

Flashback to that day by the Mexican clown named milo

"Dazai please listen" a young man said, "oh why should I listen when your dating someone use!?"

Atsushi was taken a back when dazai said that, he was in a relationship with a person who was Ross but he didn't think dazai would care

Oh yeahhhh I forgot to tell you guys Ross and atsushi are going to be in a relationship for a bit until I can find a perfect time to make then break up

Dazai didn't know how he felt he just felt mad and sad that atsushi was dating someone that wasn't him

"Fuck you go suck a fucken DICK" dazai yelled, "what the fuck dazai why the hell-" atsushi was cut off

"No atsushi listen here, you fucking whore why the FUCK were you dating someone and DIDN'T tell me about it, you said YOU WILL TELL ME EVERYTHING, I felt like you change and in a bad way"

And like that dazai slapped atsushi and left the apartment

End of flashback from the Mexican clown

Atsushi and ranpo sat down next to the window and started to talk about random stuff and new stuff that happened since the last time they talk

Okay so in this AU ranpo ad atsushi are childhood friends 1 because this is my story, 2 Yas (btw atsushi in this au ran away from the orphanage when he was 12 and he met ranpo who was outside walking, nvm I should make a backstory chapter for this)

Ranpo was talking about how his school was boring and how the class periods were not as hard as he thought, and how he got a boy to follow him around

That same boy had a raccoon who stayed outside the school until it ended and that boy got it and left to go follow ranpo home

"Teddy you want me to wait for you outside your school and walk you home?" Atsushi said

Ranpo nodded and so that's how that started

So and like that atsushi walked ranpo to school and after school like a parent even though atsushi was actually a parent of his 'sister', that boy always stayed far away from them ever since atsushi started to walk ranpo home

"So sweet tooth how do you feel about coming to my place this weekend I mean we have nothing to do" atsushi said, "eh sure I mean what could happen"

Atsushi smiled, ranpo is someone he could actually be his self with him and he trusts ranpo and ranpo does too

That makes them happy because they were all they had, ranpo and atsushi stopped when two cats came out of a alleyway, one was black and the other was orange

Ranpo looked at the cats for a few minutes and then looked at atsushi who was already petting them

"Atsushi they may had a virus or something" ranpo said, "it's still a cat and there cute!" Atsushi said

I mean who wouldn't pet a random cat that let's you pet them??, ranpo sigh and petted the orange cat, the kitty meow and atsushi had his face in a awe way that made ranpo halfway giggle

Soon the cats has left and atsushi and ranpo were on their way to get to a place they normally went to when they were younger and where they first met each other

As they got there the beautiful sunset met them up there, they stayed up there for a few hours talking and watching the waves of the water hit the rocks and they stayed next to a tree

t was calming, they hadn't felt like this in a few months so it was nice

Until atsushi got a text from akutagawa

Emo: fuck boy where are you?

Atsushi: I'm with my friend

Emo: oh chuuya told me to check on you he wants to know what happened with you and dazai

Atsushi: oh I'll tell him at school

Emo: okay

Ranpo was eating his fruit snacks he had, atsushi never asked where he got his sweet tooth, atsushi just sat there, watching the waves and the stars that starting to appear,

A few more hours of talking they got up and left to go to atsushi place because ranpo and atsushi were not going to get stab

Once atsushi unlock the door akutagawa and kyouka playing with dolls

"Uh akutagawa?" Atsushi said, "he was watching me" kyouka said

Atsushi confused but didn't ask how the fuck akutagawa knew where he lived.
But akutagawa got up and walked over to them

"So who is this? Your boyfriend?" Akutagawa asked,

Ranpo face got pink and so did atsushi, "oh no no he is just my friend you know the one I normally walk to school and after?"

Akutagawa nods and waves bye at them as he leaves
