Do you remember me? I visited you in your dream last night. Do not worry, if you do not. Most humans rather forget what happens here. I guess it would be too much to bear. Also, they are often frightened of the secrets they reveal to me in this realm.
Like when I saw you. It was something like a party. Everybody had dressed up for the occasion. But there was something off. Then I saw that the lower half of your body was naked and you hoped that nobody would recognize. And although no one seemed to notice or care, it made you feel inferior.
I decided to watch you from a distance. You walked around without talking to anybody, looking for something to cover yourself. Until you find these old and wet shorts lying around in the garden. You took them on. But actually, it did not make you feel better.
Most of the other people were mixtures of more than one person. And you made the impression that you also were not sure which person you ought to be. It was even hard to tell your age.
As you tried to speak to somebody, you couldn't. It was impossible for you to open your mouth, as if your lips were sealed. The other person just went on talking. They didn't even realize how you struggled to express yourself.
Then you were gone, until I found you in some sort of pool that had long aisles and spread like a labyrinth. You were swimming somewhere, which obviously made you feel more comfortable.
Still, you were searching for something or someone. That's when I decided to approach you. We sat at the side of the pool and started to talk.
I immediately felt the confusion about all the fear that was stuck inside you. You turned to me and said, "If you could see how I feel you would run away from me." At that moment, the water was gone, everything was shabby and dirty. And from this tiny hole in the bottom millions of cockroaches emerged, quickly crawling towards us.
Before I could say anything, you were gone.
