We were so confused seeing Una standing in front of us. After what had just happened to Cass and me, we could never be sure whether we were dreaming or not.

So we all were looking at each other with big eyes and this puzzled look, until Cass was the one to burst out laughing. Una and I joined her.

Then we all wanted to talk at the same time because we all felt this urgent need to tell each other what we thought was going on. But after nobody was able to understand what the others were saying we agreed on an order. Una was first.

She told us about the dream she had been visiting and about that strange creature that had vanished through a hole that it had made. And that she had tried to follow, then being sucked through the opening.

We agreed that this was definitely a hint for her being actually in our world.

Next I tried to outline what had happened to us, which made us again insecure about whether we were actually awake.

"I have an idea!", I suddenly blurted out. "There are tests. We could for instance flip our hands quickly because if we dream our brains are normally not able to reproduce the details fast enough."

So we did. And it worked. But still we felt a bit uneasy.

Cass started to summarise, "So, we assume that on the one hand we can never be sure, if we are awake or dreaming. There might be creatures from the dream realm intruding our world, Una is now a human being. At least for now. But who knows anyway. And we have no idea if all of this is just happening to us, or to everybody. Right?"

"Eldion might be the only one who has some answers for us", Una added, followed by a very strange noise coming from her stomach. She looked at us in utter surprise.

We just started to laugh again.

"You are really human now. You are hungry, my dear!" I said to her, "We should get you something to eat."

Then we spontaneously decided to hug each other. Partly to celebrate our new unison. And partly to comfort each other, considering the challenges that lay ahead of us.
