Ryuuen's POV.
Currently, I'm waiting for another person at our agreed meeting place. As I wait, a self appointed thought escapes my lips.
"Such a pathetic person you are."
After a few more minutes, I receive a message from Albert, asking if he can allow the person I'm waiting for to enter. I swiftly reply with a yes and tuck my phone back into my pocket.
Soon, hurried footsteps approach me.
"Good evening, Ryuuen-kun!"
She greets me cheerfully, and I turn my head to see the person addressing me.
"Kukuku, as cheerful as always, huh, girl."
Despite my glare, she maintains her smile.
"So, Ryuuen-kun, I assume you're ready to discuss what I proposed?"
"Heh, I guess so, as long as you'll bring value, I'm okay with listening to your cheerful mumbling, girl."
"Oh, that's so rude of you, Ryuuen-kun."
'She's so frustrating.'
"Skip the formalities, girl. Tell me what you wanted to say."
She nods energetically and takes a seat on the bench in front of me.
"So! What I wanted to say is this: I guess you already know that someone from my class was present when your class attacked Sudou-kun, right?"
I nod in acknowledgment.
"What if I tell you that I know who this person is?"
"I will tell you to bring me evidence, that's what."
"Oh, please, Ryuuen-kun, don't tell me that if that's not 100% information, you won't do it. Does it even matter?"
"And why wouldn't it?"
"One more person scared to death or one less, like you really care."
She follows this statement with another angelic smile.
'This girl is such a sly bitch, but to keep such an act takes quite a skill. I can't be certain if she's on my side here. However...'
In reality, I give her a grin and say, "Kukuku, here you're right for sure. But, tell me, Kikyou, what is it that you want so badly that you're even ready to go this far for it?"
She gasps in a fake surprise. "Was it that obvious that I want something for it?"
"Quit playing dumb, and let's get this over with."
"You're so mean, Ryuuen-kun. Anyway, I want just a little favor from you. Once you're done with this basketball brat..."
She flashes another angelic smile and gets up from the bench. I follow suit, and we shake hands.
"Kukukukuku! You have yourself a deal, Kikyou. I planned to do it anyway, so I don't mind."
"I'm so glad to hear this, hehehe."
"You're such a monster, kukuku."
She pouts and waves her hand as a farewell.
"The name of the person and some ideas about her, you can read on this list."
She hands me a piece of paper and quickly leaves.
'So that's how it is.'
As she departs, I chuckle and phone a certain person.
