Kiyotaka's POV._________________________________
"I can't believe we're finally here. This school is just the best!" Karuizawa exclaimed.
Though only two days had passed since I had my conversation with Hirata, I already noticed some subtle changes.
Not only was Hirata spending more time with Karuizawa, but in my personal opinion, they even started enjoying each other's company.
'Though I might be exaggerating things.'
Soon enough, all four classes were already gathered before the four homeroom teachers.
As all of them grumbled in anticipation of the upcoming "rest" they think they'll have, I saw students like Horikita or Ryuuen chuckling and sighing, probably understanding the foolishness of those beliefs.
"Now then, all students disperse to your representative homeroom teachers for further instructions."
As we did this, I looked at our homeroom Teacher, Chabashira Sae.
"Good morning, everyone. I hope you enjoyed your trip so far," she said with a smirk, most likely expecting some sort of commotion to start.
Surprisingly for her, nothing happened, and we all just stood in silence awaiting her to continue.
At this, she chuckled and continued.
"I know it might be sudden, but hereby you will commence to your first special exam."
Though some students like Sudo were surprised and started grumbling and talking, most of us just sighed in understanding.
'We saw it coming.' Most of them thought.
The reaction we received from them is due to Horikita, who began mentally preparing the entire class for the possibility of starting a special exam from the moment the trip was announced.
Looking at each other, we nodded and proceeded with listening to our teacher.
"Now I will explain the rules: You will stay on this island for exactly one week starting from today. Your main goal is to survive on the island as a class and compete with other classes in the chase for class points."
After this, she made a brief pause for us to comprehend.
"Each class except Class A, who will start with 255 class points, will start with 300 class points. Class points may be earned through point stations which are located on the island. Besides, the points may only be extracted by the person whom you choose as the Class Leader. This person will receive a special card with which he'll be able to extract points from any point station on the island every 8 hours. Furthermore, the station which is already claimed by another class is forbidden from harvest until the 8-hour timer runs out. If another class will try to harvest a point which is already captured by another class they will suffer a penalty of 50 points.
Both I and Matsushita simultaneously raised our hands.
"I will answer to both of you after I'm done explaining, so please be a bit more patient," she said, smirking.
"So, the last two things: you can use your private points to get anything from the manual which I already gave to your class leader," she said, pointing at me. "Besides, in this manual, you may find a full set of rules. In conclusion, there's another thing: point stations aren't the only source of income. On the last day of the exam, the class leader will be able to write down the names of each class leader, if they know them, of course. In case you got the name right, the class who got guessed will lose 50 points while the class who guessed will receive them. Furthermore if your leader wasn't guessed by any other class your class will receive 50 class points."
