Day we have our Midterm exams.
Currently, both Horikita and I were seated on the rooftop, having lunch.
"So, how was it for you, Suzune?"
On this, a raven-haired friend of mine just shrugged.
"Well, not great, not terrible. I anticipated it to be like this."
Biting off my home cooking, I inquired, "If you were to grade your overall midterms mark from 1 to 100."
"Hmmm, I would say 84-87. I have some minor flaws here and there."
On this, I nodded because my mouth was stuffed.
"I failed to notice that you love to eat curry so much, Kiyotaka-kun."
After this, she smirked, clearly happy with the remark.
"Karma will find you for joking so harshly about my food preferences, Suzune."
As we continued sharing each other's company while eating, I grew tired of his presence and decided to call him out.
"Ryuuen, mind me making an assumption that it's not good for your kneecaps to sit there for too long. Come join us if you're so eager to hear us talk."
Although Suzune sent me a shocked yet annoyed glare, I waved it off and awaited the person in question to emerge from behind the corner.
"Kukuku, you're certainly something, Ayanokoji. You're the first one to ever notice my presence."
"Whatever, I just got bored of your peeking face."
The person in question released a loud laugh.
"Hahaha, and for how long have you been aware of my presence?"
On this, I tried to imitate a pensive expression, "From the beginning, perhaps?"
"Oh please, spare both my and Suzune's eyes from your expressions. You're turning yourself into a laughing stock."
'Ouch.'
"Though it was a good joke, I certainly didn't give you permission to call me by my first name, Ryuuen."
Answering to this, the magneto-haired boy grinned from ear to ear and leaned on the railing.
"Oi oi, Suzune, don't make me sad by saying that you're already taken by someone. Oh! Let me make a wild guess that you're into Ayanokoji?"
On this, Suzune almost choked on her tea while looking quite surprised.
"I'm still here, Ryuuen. It's rude to gossip about me in my presence, don't you think?"
"Kukuku, are you bothered, huh, Ayanokoji."
"Not really, just stop, you're making Suzune uncomfortable."
Ryuuen chuckled again and gestured for me to come closer so he could say something.
On this, I sighed and got up from my place underneath the wall by the exit.
After a couple of moments, both of us were leaning on the railing while Horikita was standing near me, arms crossed.
"You already met this blonde fucker ?"
A simple nod served as an answer.
"So, how was it?"
On this, I shrugged my shoulders. "Not bad, not good. How about you?"
"Never met the guy in person. He sent some guy named Amae Honekawa. As I understood, he's a second-year class B leader."
'So he didn't deem Ryuuen worth noticing. Foolish mistake.'
