"Kukukuku, and what you two are staring at? He asked with a sadistic smile developing on his face."

"Class C leader walking out of the door I assume? "

Kiyotaka slightly tilted his head.

"Quick thinker huh? Good for you, now if you're done playing detectives here get lost."

As he said this I saw horikitas eyebrow flinch in anger.

"It's alright Horikita."

I've put my hand on her shoulder.

"I don't think we want to be late for the club ceremony, am I right?"

After my words and some pressure which I applied with my hand, she sighed.

"You're right, we have no time to spare on this useless discussion."

While watching our little conversation magneta-haired boy smirked in frustration.

As I calmed my Raven friend we quickly left with me sending one last gaze to the boy.

'Eventually, he might pose some interest'

In a couple of minutes, we reached our destination and started waiting for the beginning of the ceremony. Shortly after this, the ceremony began.

It would be a lie if I said that it was completely boring, there were some clubs that caught my eye, but not more.

"Horikita."

She raised her eyebrows in question.

"What is it Ayanokoji-kun?"

"Do you plan to join any club? "

"If there was a Karate club I would likely join but I don't think they have such a club. "

" I see, so you like Karate huh?"

"At some point, I'm quite good at it so I guess it's rather obvious for me to like it."

"I see, well, it wasn't really useful, but one thing caught my eye."

"What is it Ayanokoji-kun?"

"Think about it yourself, if they value our abilities, then it's obvious for them to value our club activities as well, where they can see our skills and achievements clearly, my point is that the club activities might be rewarded by the school.

"Hmmm, you have a point, so you mean we need to encourage our class.....

"Now the school council president will hold the speech."

As the announcer said these words we stopped talking and shifted our gazes back to the stage.

Shortly after the announcement a young boy with black hair shifted to the left and cold violet eyes entered the stage.

ʼ He looks surprisingly like Horikita. ʼ

As I was trying to figure out this riddle he just stood on the stage gazing at the hall.

"What's the problem with this guy?"

"Will he start talking or what?"

As he continued just standing there crowd started to be impatient.

As they continued voicing their useless complaints he just ignored them, but then something unexpected happened, as we were standing in silence he noticed us and sent us a long and curious gaze while raising one eyebrow in surprise.

While he was glaring at us I tilted my head and glared at him in return. After this, he smirked and regained his composure. By the time we ended our silent battle of glares, the hall fell silent.
