Just now, I left Chairman Sakayanagi's office after a fruitful conversation that lasted for around two hours. However, I can't return to the dormitory just yet because I still have a student council meeting to attend.
In fact, Manabu contacted me yesterday evening so we could discuss everything in the student council.
Furthermore, he mentioned the possibility of encountering Nagumo there.
'I have to admit, this perspective does seem interesting. I wonder what his reaction would be.'
Shaking off all these thoughts, I started walking in the direction of the student council room.
Ding!
I received a message on my phone, unsurprisingly from Arisu.
Though I have no particular idea why, lately, we've been talking more frequently.
As for the message, I already anticipated something along those lines; she asked me about the meeting with her father.
In response, I typed that I would share the details when we could speak in private.
After this, I shoved my phone into my pocket and quickened my pace.
'Who knew Mr. Sakayanagi was such a talker.'
Five minutes later...
Knock! Knock! Knock!
As I knocked on the door of the student council, I heard some noise followed by fast steps.
The person who opened the door for me was the President's secretary, Tachibana, if I recall correctly.
"Good afternoon. The President awaits you; come with me."
I nodded and followed her into the room.
Upon entering, I noticed that it wasn't just Manabu present in the room.
"Oho, and who might this be, Tachibana-senpai? Please don't tell me you're here to shatter Manabus-senpai's heart with a sudden date declaration?"
Ignoring the strange blonde guy's question, Tachibana left the room.
After her departure, I nodded to the President and redirected my gaze to the blond guy.
He stood at around 175-180 centimeters or 5 feet 10 inches. With medium-length blond hair, his uniform was worn casually, with his tie hanging loosely around his neck, and his shirt appearing oversized.
However, there was something off about him that I couldn't quite pinpoint. The only phrase that came to mind was that some white room students had a similar look in the later stages.
He stared at me as if I were his prey.
After a moment, he began glaring at me, a grin creeping onto his lips.
In response, I maintained my own cold yet blank expression.
"Ahem, good afternoon, Ayanokoji. I suppose I should be the one to introduce you two."
With that, the President rose from his seat and approached us.
"This is Nagumo Miyabi, Student Council Vice President. And this person is Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, leader of former Class 1-D which is current class C."
With Manabu finishing the introduction, Nagumo grinned and offered a handshake.
"Nice to meet you in person, Ayanokoji-kun. I've heard many interesting things about you from other students, as well as from President Manabu himself. That's quite a reputation!"
