***Shadow's POV***
I woke up to the light beaming from the blinds over my head and looked down to see that Shade was gone, I guess she woke up before me, I sat up and a delicious smell hit my nose instantly, my stomach growled, demanding me to go and eat it, I sighed and went into the kitchen to find the source of the mouthwatering scent. "Hey sleepyhead! You came in just in time! Think fast!" Shade greeted and tossed a bottle of liquid to me, I quickly grabbed the object to see it was syrup, so we're having pancakes, cool! I sat down at the table waiting for my food, once I got it, I quickly dug in, I looked up as Shade ate too. Sydney, Faker, and (y/n) were at the counter watching the TV, so it was only me and Shade. I chuckled as I found a spot of whip cream on the corner of her mouth, she looked at me confused "What's so funny?" She questioned, I got up and went next to her "You got a little something right.." I licked the spot and she gasped "..There." I finished, I chuckled and she pushed my shoulder lightly "You tease me too much!" She laughed, I wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my head on her shoulder "Yeah. I know". That's when something inside of me snapped...

***Sonic's POV***
Today we're going to Egghead's abandoned battle ship to see if there's any antidote left, we called Tails but he said there was a lot of veils that had all kinds of serums, guess that means Eggman has been doing DNA tests. My thoughts were interrupted as a scream echoed through the house, I jumped out of my seat and ran into the kitchen, right there on the ground, was Shade pinned down by Shadow The Hedgehog, his tail wagging and his eyes glowing, snarling "Shadow get off!" Shade struggled trying to kick him off, but Shadow had his legs locked onto hers. I took a step closer and Shadow growled at me like a vicious wolf, the look in his eyes told me something was definitely wrong with him, he had his fangs and claws back, his eyes narrowed and snapped his teeth at me "Shadow! Snap out of it!" I begged, what's wrong with him? He's going mad!!
