Donnie's POV
Lily and I stayed on the rooftop for a little while longer, mostly just making out, but I mean what can I say? I hadn't kissed her in five years, I needed to make up for that. We eventually stopped and went down to the apartment she was staying in. She showed me her Master's degree and I looked at it while she got her few things together. She didn't have a TV or couch or anything. Just a few personal belongings and a sleeping bag and a pillow and a laptop. I couldn't stop looking at the degree though, with the widest smile on my face. She came back up to me and chuckled.
"Still lookin' at that?" She laughed. I nodded and looked over to her. I set the degree down on the floor and pulled her into a close hug.
"I'm just so proud of you." I said gently. She chuckled.
"It's not that big of a deal, I just passed school again." She said. I shook my head.
"Not just that, which I am very proud of you for, but just... the way you handled everything. Like, just, the way you set everything up to get those guys off your back was genius. I just... I don't know I'm just proud of you." I explained. She giggled.
"You're even cuter than I remember." She said gently. I smiled.
"You're even more gorgeous than I remember." I replied gently. She chuckled.
"Well, when you finally get curves and boobs it can do wonders." She said. I laughed and shook my head again.
"I wasn't really looking there but I mean I guess." I laughed. She rolled her eyes.
"Uh huh, you didn't look even once?" She teased.
"Ok, maybe once, but I wasn't referring to that. I meant you're hair and face and stuff." I chuckled. She smiled.
"What about it? Do you like how I cut it, or should I grow it out again?" She asked. I shrugged.(A/N You guys decide, comment whether she should grow her hair back out to hip length or leave it at shoulder length :D)
"I don't know, it's cute how it is, but I mean it would be gorgeous no matter what, so do what you want." I smiled. She chuckled and nodded.
"Ok, I'll think about it." She said, "How about my eyes? You like the contacts or nah?"
"Nah I think you should stay with the purple." I laughed. She laughed too.
"Haha, yeah I agree." I chuckled before realizing that my brothers and everyone were still looking for me, possibly thinking I was dead.
"Shit, I gotta get back to the lair!" I said, letting go of her and hurrying to the window.
"Wait wait wait! Why do you have to get back?" She asked.
"I texted everyone goodbye before I jumped, and the others were chasing me trying to stop me when I left, I have to get back!" I said and opened the window.
"Wait, could... could I go with you?" She asked nervously. I nodded.
"Sure, why not?" I asked as she came towards the window.
"Well I mean... I don't know how they others will react... Especially your brothers.... I might not be welcome back after what I did to all of you...." She said. I waved it off.
"Oh don't worry Lil, I'm sure they'll all be happy to see you again." I smiled. She still looked unsure.
"But what if they aren't?" She asked. I took her hand and pulled her close to me to hug her.
"Don't worry babe, they will. And if they have an issue then we'll leave." I said. She sighed and nodded, hugging me back.
"Ok..... Are you sure you'd want to leave too though? I could just stay here or at Ava's and you could visit. I don't want to stand between you and your family." I shook my head.
