Monster

"LILY! NO!" I screamed. I quickly jumped off the back of the truck, landing next to the hige pools of mutagen now on the ground. I looked around, I couldn't see her. I only heard her screams.

"LILY WHERE ARE YOU?! PLEASE LILY WHERE ARE YOU?!" I cried, seconds from tears. I couldn't believe this was happening, I felt light headed. I couldn't see her anywhere.

"LILY PLEASE ANSWER ME WHERE ARE YOU?!" I cried at the pools of mutagen, knowing I would get no reply, not now anyway. I fell to my knees, tears streaming down my face.

"Lily..." I cried weakly. Slowly, I saw a figure rise up from the mutagen. It was lightly colored with patches of dark red, like the color of Lily's hair. It many small dark spots. It had a long tail with the same patter as on the rest it's fur. It stood on it's hands and feet, facing away from me. It was Lily.

I stayed silent. I just watched her from the edge of the mutagen. My beautiful princess, the one who I had just gotten back, was now lost again. I was scared for what I would see when she would turn around. I just watched.

She slowly began to look around. She looked down at her feet and let out a scream that pierced through the deafening silence of the night. The truck was long gone, but the effects were not. She ran out of the mutagen as quickly as she was able to one her four feet. She was not used to walking like this. As soon as she was out she sat back on her hind legs and looked down at herself. I just watched.

She began to cry.

I just watched.

She looked at me, anger in her now bright glowing eyes, the color of mutagen with a much more intense purple mixed into them.

I just watched.

She ran at me.

I stayed.

"WHY AM I LIKE THIS?! WHAT DID YOU DO?! I TRUSTED YOU WITH EVERYTHING!" She screamed running towards me.

I still stayed.

She got to me and clawed at me. I dodged her attacks. She eventually gave up and started crying.

"What happened to me." She weeped.

I opened my arms. She fell into them. She cried into my shoulder. I didn't blame her for being mad at me, because I knew she wasn't. She was panicking, horrified, being mutated isn't easy for most people to handle.

"Lily we need to get out of here." I told her

"What happened to me." she cried.

I picked her up and ran to the nearest alley. Police cars were on the way and people were starting to come out of their apartments, no doubt hearing the screaming. I climbed up a fire escape, still holding her, and ran across the rooves. Once we were far enough away, I dropped down into an alley to be hidden from helecopters, but didn't go into the sewers. She would need fresh air.

"Lily listen to me you're ok." I said quietly.

"I'm a monster." She cried.

"No you're not."

"LOOK AT ME!"

"Lily we need to be quiet."

"NO DONNIE, LOOK AT ME! I'M A MONSTER!"

I put my hand over her mouth. And looked her straight in the eyes, though they were much scarier now.

"You are not a monster-" She squirmed, I stared intensely at her.

"Listen to me. You. Are. Not. A. Monster. You are Lily and I still love you."

She closed her eyes, tears still streaming out of them. I took my hand away from her face and put my arms around her tightly. She laid her head against my plastron and kept crying. I held her tight.

Suddenly I felt the fur go away, and her body change shapes. I looked down and jumped. I let her go and grabbed her shoulders, pushing her back and staring at her.

She looked normal, except for her eyes.

"What Donnie?" She asked, concerned. She looked down and her eyes widened.

This had to be dream, this wasn't happening. How could she look normal? She was just a mutant leopard a few seconds ago.

I didn't have time to comprehend it, I got a call from Leo. I picked up.

"Donnie! Where the fuck are you?!"

"What are you talking about."

"We just saw a news report on a huge mutagen spill and there was someone reported running from the scene! Get your shell back here now!"

"I'll be there soon." I hung up, "Lily, we need to go."

"What's happening to me." She cried.

"I don't know, we'll look into it. We need to get back to the lair."

She nodded and we got up. I opened the sewer grate near us and let her down first. I hopped down after, closing the grate behind us, and we started running towards the lair.

The picture at the top is of mutant Lily and her eye. Theyre horrible drawings and would look much cooler if I could draw realistically but just imagine something along the lines of that. Basically her fur is a mix of her hair color and the regular tan of a leopard, she has leopard spots, and the teal in her eyes looks like mutagen like all shiny and it moves like mutagen does and such and the purple is supposed to be very very vivid purple mixing around with the teal. Just a more detailed description, and the awful drawing I dud is just a kinda basic picture to give a better idea x'D
