The thunder roared over the hidden caves within the mountain range bordering Flam Lake. It sounded like the crying of dozens of dragons, though one hasn't been spotted in this area for years. The sleeping homes below hid the scant number of villagers huddling near fires, waiting out the vicious storm. Little did they know, that night was anything but a normal night. As lighting cracked over head, a massive form like a dark cloud descended from the heavens, casting a shadow over the land. It hit the earth with the force of an earthquake, making everything shake to its core. The form wheezed as it scrambled toward the caves. Another deafening call sounded over the valley. The figure raised its head and mournfully set it precious cargo safely into one of the more hidden caves. It whispered to it with its mind soft words before taking back into the clouds. The small package, barely 5 feet long, shook with the storm until resting in its place. It glistening with tiny water droplets and inside, a treasure to be hidden till the right time, hummed to a steady beat of its heartbeat.
