𝗖𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 trying to convince me to get Lolita to ask Julian of her memories. He and I are on a mission currently to get my pact back in order finally. With Yuno a hybrid, Tana on his side, not that I care, and Pam, a decent but not overly badass Wiccan, I'm sure he's forming a newer, better pact than he had last time.

But overall my team is strong. Lolita is a tribid, we've got Julian and Cain is stronger than any other beta I know. He's even destined to be an alpha. I'm not sure he likes to lead though, he says it's, "time consuming." As if reading isn't time consuming on its own.

"What did you and Julian "disagree" on, that made you want Lolita to remember him?"

Cain tensed. "It was nothing important." Lies. Whatever it was they spoke about was probably about what I made noticed to Cain. Their relationship of course.

"Is he just using you?"

"I hate you. But no...he's not."

"Did he actually hurt you?"

"Yeah." He mutters.

"What'd you say?"

"Let's change the topic to you and Lolita."

"I'll pass."

"Oh come on, how'd it feel? Did you cum? Give me the deets." I shoved him away. "Logan's blushing." He teases. "Dude your heart."

"Shut up asshole." He laughed at me, but something felt wrong. I started to sweat. Cain must've caught on and tapped my shoulder.

"Ah crap man, you need to get used to not getting turned on so quickly. Especially now that you've got a mate. You don't want to mate so much that you get her pregnant. Not sure you're ready to be a father."

"I don't even want kids."

"Ha! And what if Lolita wants kids then what?"

I shrug. "Then we'll have kids."

"Man, you really have found your anchor. Everything is Lolita this and Lolita that. You had one crush in your entire life and after that you barely gave woman attention. Sometimes I wondered if you were into guys."

I looked at him. I don't know if Cain noticed but that felt like a mini confession. "Did you like me at some point?" He instantly looked at me. His face went from shock to repulsion.

"Fuck no." He laughs. Okay maybe I was wrong. "You are not what I'm in-...hm."

"It's doesn't matter if you're into guys Cain. Express yourself and whoever has a problem with it, rip their heads off. And you're obviously into those witchcraft demons. First Jenna and now Julian."

"Jenna wasn't a Wiccan."

"If they could put spells on you they're Wiccans." He snorts.

"You really hate them."

"I have my reasons."

"Those being?"

"Doesn't matter for now."

"Hmp, and Julian?"

"I still don't like him. He's cocky, too secretive and hard to read. A challenge at best is what he is, which is the only thing I do like about him; and the fact that he cares about Lolita. He's always vulnerable around her, making his expressions much easier to read, even if it's just sullen silence."
