Author's Note
To my lovely readers, I want to make it clear that I am not a professional writer. I write for fun, for entertainment, and as a way to escape my hectic school schedule. This is my first book, so you will see mistakes, imperfections, and plenty of room for growth.
Constructive feedback is always welcome, but disrespect or hateful comments toward me or my characters will not be tolerated. These comments will be deleted, and if it becomes excessive, I won't hesitate to unpublish the story again.
I'm a very kind person, but I draw a firm line when it comes to disrespect.
RED was created out of my love for mafia action thrillers, and out of a desire to bring that same love for my characters. Your support means more than you know. Thank you all for your support and with no further ado...

Soft R& B music filtered into my hearing, I couldn't help but hummed along to the tune as a smile moved onto my lips into a permanent fix. Thoughts of River Caruso, my fiancé came to mind as the artist lyricize about her love for her person.
He was everything I didn't know I needed until I met him. I could talk to him about anything and at the same time I could be open minded about what he thought and gave him my best raw critics without him getting offensive and retaliate in an unpleasant manner.
A flutter curved in my stomach as I glance down at the ring he gave to me on his proposal last night, the proposal wasn't one that was extravagant to be honest, it took me by surprise seeing that we were both dressed in our pajamas, sucking on ice pops as we wrapped ourselves up in a large blanket whilst watching the series Flash on Netflix.
I giggled as I remembered our silly banter over Killer Frost and her personality, we went as far as to betting each other about if she'd become a permanent villain or not in the upcoming series we'd watch tonight.
Even as the CEO of the city's large private hospital, River always make time for me. Sometimes I wondered how he'd have time to go over documents and communicate with his healthcare administrators and still make room for us.
His time and commitment to us makes me want to see this man become the best version of himself.
Shaking my head at the memory of our childish exchange, I turn into the middle-class neighborhood, driving until I saw the familiar black gates that belong to the entrance of River's home.
I smile at the word home, with him it brings comfort. I couldn't wait until I hear his husky voice which would always grace me from a long day at work.
Parking behind his black Jeep, I left the comfort of my vehicle and shivered as the cold breeze from the night hit my thighs through the trench coat. I had it all planned out in the back of my mind for how tonight would end, I wanted to show my appreciation to him in the form of seduction and I knew it'd be everything we anticipated.
