Just above the heads of socializing business men and women, I kept my eyes locked on Xavi Valentino.
He had a hand deep in his pocket, his focus set on a group of white girls who were all giggling to his every word, his body language, concluded my thought of him.
Valentino was a cocky light blondie bastard who took pride and joy in his very looks.
I scoffed in disbelief as each girls fan themselves, their gaze stuck on he, who proudly, bend his hand and flex his bulging arms.
I honestly expected them to faint to the ground as he sent them a wink.
And I snort, his attitude reminding me so much of Fire.
Rolling my eyes, I wanted to assassinate the guy in a undetected method. It needed to be quite so that I could slipped out without anyone picking out the killer of his dearest Valentino.
The thought of Artem hearing that his little brother was dead was both profitable and satisfying. He deserved it for what he did to me and for ripping away the future that I wanted.
So in confidence, I stepped forward in the slightly dark ball room. Tightly pack bodies stood in groups as they chatted business, something I had no interest in.
With the neatly folded newspaper in hand, I drop a hand in my cleavage, taking out the lighter from between my lace bra.
I flick the lighter as I held it down to my side and as I awaited the burn to grip the paper to make my move, my spine straightens then.
Please fucking God...
I cursed inwardly and then sent an apology to the big man above in regret for cursing at him.
An air of musk, leather creamy distinctive scent formed a closure over my body and without question stuffed itself within my nostrils.
It's been months, why did he had to appear now. My heart was beating so hard that I literally thought it'd jump out of my chest.
I thought I would be ready to face him at any time when he shows up. Because I knew that our paths would meet again...but I never thought it'd be this soon.
That confidence I built over the months fell for a second as I shivered at his hands which gripped my hips.
My slip only lasted for a while as I concealed it and without thought, annoyance replace attraction as he pressed his chest on the back of my head.
"Red Ruiz, once again you never failed to surprise me."
Reminding me once again of our height difference.
His chest rumbles with his deep voice and I almost sighed out loud in relief as he press his lips to my ear, lips moving as he said.
"I was never expecting to see you...here and I am every bit concerned."
I stretch a leg out through the slit of the dress and took out my gun from the slot just at the same time the room darkens, my childhood memories taking effect as the Flamenco music came on.
Everyone in the room fell into a dancing stance and I as well, my breath shuddered as I position both hands behind me and I heard him chuckled as he notice my gun.
"That should be the least of your problem Mr. Black. You made it..." I step forward with a hand gripping my side akimbo, his body now beside me doing the exact same thing.
"Your life mission to remind me that I am not your concern anymore.." I lift my knee which drifted apart the slit of the dress. I quickly grab the material of the split.
With the hand still on my hips, I begin to tap both of my feet to the rhythm.
"On the night you nearly choke me to death with your bullet...."
He did the same beside me and I felt him burn the side of my face, my face concealing all emotions as we both throw both hands over our heads and to the side, the music flowing as some of the musicians clap simultaneously and played in tune. The guitars and other instruments forming together beautifully and I almost smiled in nostalgia.
We both individually spin around on our feet with our hands still above our head, the music beautifully playing as the men and women in the dark ballroom danced with wide grins.
Their grins were the complete opposite to our brooding conversation.
"And if I told you that I deeply regret what I did, would you..."
The dance to me was only natural as the routine that my dad showed to me was still instilled within every flow from I was just a child.
We both fell into quick courses, my breath coming out breathlessly seeing that I was now before him, I turn to the side a bit to shake my hand which still had the gun and newspaper.
"Forgive me..." His deep voice said behind me, we were so close but yet so far.
I didn't want anyone to see what I had in my hand so as the music drifted on with claps, I turn to the other side with a leg bend up through the slit, and then lift a hand up, I used my other hand to grip the dress slit and then in motion Lorenzo and I turn into a short circle which drew us both together.
I bit my lips softly at his suit which fitted his muscular frame so neatly, the white shirt under his checkered leather suit jacket gripped his large chest in compression as we spin.
He wrap a hand around my waist and position his other hand out, eventually I did the same to him, I wrap my hand around his large chest, ignoring his muscular built and with the other that held the gun, I pressed it on his back with the gun sinking on his spinal cord.
We spin around on our feet as we held a tight close body contact, breaths rushing out as he craned his head down to me.
Our eyes locked as we both drilled deeply into a dark gaze, I concealed how I felt from his body heat and allowed him to feel the gun in warning as I apply pressure to the muzzle.
Yet this didn't faze him as he grinned down at me. "Don't fucking follow me again Mr. Black, next time I will not be so forgiving if you do."
I spin out of his hands and disappeared between the dancing bodies and I knew how stubborn he was when I felt him following behind me and I quickly sighed in annoyance.
Couldn't he just fucking stop.
I scoffed inwardly and quickly held my head down, stepping around the bodies and forming a zig zag form between the dancing men and women as I tried to lose Lorenzo through the crowd.
But he was persistent. I gritted my teeth and quickly made instant position of Xavi ahead who was dancing with three women by his side.
I flick the lighter, smirking as the flames gripped the crumbled news paper.
The music eventually came to an end as I came up behind him.
Without much thought I watched as everyone chatted and laugh in distraction after a tiring dance, seeking out his security details who were clearly not around to do their job.
Too bad I will do it for them...
When I notice that everyone was still distracted, I allow the paper to fall immediately, instant smoke overtaking the still dark place as it burn.
Chaos broke out from the smoke and with everyone running in every direction, I wrap my fingers around the handle of the hand-gun and quickly position the silencer to the back of the moving blonde who was running ahead and pulled the trigger.
Blood splutter out in an instant as he fell on his knees then drop on his side in a pool of blood.
With that, I click the ear piece and escaped into the crowd, Lorenzo eyes watching me as I leave, my heart beating along with my annoyance from his dark gaze.
"You can delete the footage, Rafa." I said softly as numerous security team darts into the building and then and there I smirk as I rushed out with the huge crowd of people into the night air of Madrid.
