▪Third person pov
“Bang Christopher Chan, where were you?”
Chan froze, turning to the voice emitting from the darkness and way too soon for him to comprehend, the lights were turned on, a frowning Minjun now in sight, her arms crossed, her hair neatly tied up and foot tapping each second, anticipating his reply. And this scene kinda bemused Chan a lot, normally he was the one in her position and second, she was talking to him? It was much more amusing than bemusing. The Aussie couldn't help but smile a bit, his dimples in full display.
“Hi Minjun,” he waved, walking away from the door.
“Uh... Hi? That didn't answer my question!” Minjun blocked his path, arms spreading apart to prevent him from getting away from her. Chan was always home early and it made her worried to know that it was almost twelve am and he wasn't back. The brunette glared at the older with mild interest, awaiting a sensible retort.
“I was with the guys, and yeah?” Chan answered, now trailing his way to the kitchen, an unsatisfied Minjun behind him, asking for a better explanation. The Australian would chuckle to himself, each time she said something outrageous and tried to ease her up a bit.
“I thought some gangster like kidnapped you. I wanted to come check but heard a really eerie sound and ran back up. Do you know how frightened I was?”
The taller opened the fridge, taking out a can of energy drink. “Wow Jun, I never knew you cared about me, that's real-”
“I just didn't want the earth to lose one hot person.”
“For the last time I'm not hot!”
“You're right, my bad,” The smaller pouted. “You're sexy as fuck!”
Bang Chan looked away from her, sighing, his face burning crimson. “Stop saying things like that,” the receding hairline guy put out.
Minjun crossed her arms, huffing. “I see I'm no longer allowed to say the truth!” she looked away from the taller.
“Did you close early today?” Chan asked, now walking away from the kitchen and towards his room. How perplexed Minjun looked vague him out. "I meant at work?”
“Oh yeah, yup,” the shorter heaved out a sigh of relieve, an awkward laugh followed suit. “Busy day at the supermarket today.”
“Thought it was a cafe-”
“Yup, its a Cafe-” Minjun jumped in, stretching a bit. “So stressful, I accidentally mixed up my words.”
Chan mouth a low 'oh okay' an incredulously confused look on his face. But that's totally believable. Right off the bat, he could think of a few times that have happened to him.
His gaze stopped at her hand, lingering for a while. “Whats that reddish mark?”
Minjun took up her hand, staring at him. “Burnt myself today while brewing coffee, anyways what's up? Why you wearing a beanie?” she was now focused on Chan, who had his hand on the doorknob.
“Um, I kinda do wear beanies a lot?”
“I know, but you know that you have very scanty hair and like when you wear beanies, there's nothing left out, but like this place,” The rambling female got closer to Chan, tapping so close to his ear. “Like kinda have a little exposure and its usually red but it doesn't look red right now! Did I explain that right?”
Chan nodded. “Oh yeah, I coloured my hair!”
“What?” the brunette gasped. “You have hair left? What colour now? Can I see it?”
The taller scrawled, sliding into his now opened room. “No, try guessing and I'll show you tomorrow. ”
“But-”
“Goodnight Minjun!” the Australian shut the door, leaving a disappointed Minjun, who huffed.
“Goodnight Chrissy!”
