Third person
Pov“C'mon Chrissy, let's go you slow ass!”
Chris shook out of his daze. Right, he was on that supposed date with Minjun, but his mind was still behind, trapped in the weird conversation Minho and his flatmate were having. 'A huge fan'? Could Minho really be talking about her coffee? Did she brew such tasty coffee that she got him swooning? Or was she such a good clerk at the supermarket? Or did they meet at the laundry mart? Holy shit, she was working quite a few jobs.
Ugh, there he goes again with his assumptions. It felt wrong though, but at the same time right. Wrong that he was being nosey and right that he cared about her and her well being.
Maybe her bruises came from someone who was harassing her at work? Who could possibly do that? Were they threatening her to keep shut? This was all so middling to him. “Chris? What's wrong?” Minjun noticed how the taller would stare into space every now and then, even on their way here, it almost resulted to an accident.
The blue haired sighed, raking his fingers through his– imagine– hair. “When Minho said he was a fan? Um, do you really make such great coffee?”
Minjun scoffed, tittering at how fidget-y he had gotten. “You've tasted my coffee before, dude-” she tsk'd. “-old man.”
“Hey! We're almost the same age!”
“Not mentally, though!”
Chan was beginning to regret agreeing to come shopping with her, but she only promised to borrow an hour from his day, it won't be that long, right?
“C'mon brah, let's go-” Minjun beamed, jumping on the spot. She was so enraptured to have his company and wanted to get right down to the reason why they were here in the first place. Her fretting demeanor casted aside because she was away from Minho who might potentially expose her. She had to think of a way to divert Chris' mind, at least until she speaks to Minho.
Chan stumbled forward, unable to keep up with how quickly Minjun was moving, surfing through the people present at the mall. “Minjun, slow down!”
“Can't keep up, oldie?” The brunette grinned. She gasped when her gaze landed on a store she was certain to have never seen before. She read the name imprinted in bold calligraphy, ogling at the cute theme they went with. “Chris, let's check this one out, please. Please. Please-”
Shoes for you 💕
Chan shrugged, not wanting to criticize nor praise the name of the new shop, he sighed, following behind the enthusiastic Minjun. “Do I have a choice?” he prodded.
“No. You absolutely do not have any right to say 'no' to a girl.”
The blue haired sighed for the umpteenth time in just less than an hour. Hannah used to say that a lot, especially when she took something of his without permission.
Girls are complicated.
The whole trip lasted seven hours, of just Minjun dragging Chan around, trying and buying basically everything she saw. He wonders if her jobs pays great for she to be spending this much amount of money. And by the time they stepped out, it was already dark, he was exhausted but knew so damn well, that he wouldn't sleep cause he had to catch up on the work he had missed.
“Yay!” Minjun beamed. “Let's do this again.”
