Marvel Rising: Playing With Fire (In Another Perspective)

Chapter 1: Mysterious Thing

Note-This story will be short as this is my theory before the actual series is released. Some parts of the story might be similar to the actual show but the dialogue will be different. Enjoy reading my short chapters.

It was Wednesday morning, the museum was filled with crowds. Kamala was busy checking on her phone (so-called the hero watch). Dante went close to her.

Dante: So, what are you doing with your hero watch?

Kamala: Just staying vigilant, seeing if any heroes need help. Okay, things get boring lately. Daisy is busy with shield stuff, Riri is at the Science fair and Carol is on vacation. I really wanna do hero stuff so badly!

Dante: Yeah, looks like I cannot play with my power...But hey, at least I tried something at the vegan doughnut shop. Skip basil rhubarb crunch, by the way. Weird.

Kamala: Seriously? Basil rhubarb crunch is amazing. You are being weird, Dante.

Dante: Oh yeah? If you want weird, try the honey arugula.

Kamala is about to say a word, but the teacher cuts them off.

Teacher: Kamala and Dante, pay attention, or else both of you are going to detention.

Kamala and Dante sighed and whispered.

Kamala: Great, my mom's gonna kill me when she sees me being in detention room...

Dante: Me too...

As the teacher was explaining about artefacts, Dante's phone buzzed with a notification. He whipped his phone out and saw the unknown number. Kamala tries to take a peek at his phone.

Kamala: Is everything okay?

Dante: Umm...

As he was to answer her question, there was an emergency alarm rang. Kamala was unable to contain her excitement so she jumped up and down.

Kamala: Woo hoo! Finally, it's hero time! Now, we're gonna stop the bad guys and save the day!

Kamala ran in excitement but Dante stopped her by grabbing her shoulder.

Kamala: Huh?

Dante: Maybe we should let museum security handle it.

Kamala: No way! We will stop the villains no matter what! So come on!

Kamala grabbed Dante's wrist and ran away.

A few seconds later...

Ms Marvel and Inferno were running towards the display section. However, Ms Marvel's scarf blocked Inferno's face.

Inferno: Hold on, my face caught in the sleeve.

As Ms Marvel stopped, Inferno bumped into her behind by accident.

Inferno: Sorry...

Ms Marvel: It's alright.

Both of them got up.

Ms Marvel: Oh yeah? Where's the bad guy? He doesn't stand a chance, now that Ms. Marvel and Inferno are here.

The display section was empty.

Inferno: Umm...you know there's no one in the museum.

Ms Marvel: What?!

Her eyes widened.

Inferno: Maybe we should go back to class.

Ms Marvel: NO! I'm sure there's a villain somewhere.

Ms. Marvel searched everywhere in the museum but no one was there.
