Deja Vu × Llorumi Oneshot - NINJAGO Fanfiction

Deja Vu

It's been weeks since the defeat of the Crystal King. Grudges remain, but severed ties have been knotted once more.

We have some not-so-obvious: like Ronin and the Ninjas; UltraViolet and Harumi; Ronin and Harumi, father-and-daughter; Fugi-Dove and Jay; Quanish's reputation, no one called him a fool anymore, seeing as his instructions for Dragon Form saved the entire realm.
Then we have the obvious ones: Vania and Cole, communicating better now after they almost lost one-another; Mr. E, known as Echo, and Zane; Wu and Garmadon; and of course, our favourite

Lloyd and Harumi.

The two had gone through a lot together recently, including their newfound powers.
Lloyd was discovering just how powerful his Oni side was, though he was managing to control it pretty well thanks to his energy and the goodness of his heart counteracting its darkness.
As for Harumi, she found strength in crystals. No, she wasn't being corrupted by the Overlord's soul.. She was just his successor of crystal power, as she had been named his second-in-command - and it was too late to revert once she had seen the light, considering that Lloyd obliterated him.

Despite how much they've been through, they do in fact love each other.

In truth, Lloyd never stopped loving Harumi. He just tried to convince himself and others around him that he had, to help him move on with her death, at least at the time.
Now, he didn't need to fake it, he just had to hide his blush behind his messy hair and hood.

Harumi, on the other hand, was a lot more complicated. She wasn't sure what love was, she didn't have the same "instantly in-love" effect that Lloyd had.
She planned from day one to trick him to fall in love with her, and it worked like a charm. He was head-over-heels and she was in control. What she didn't plan for, though, was for her to fall for him.
She doesn't know how or when she fell for him, perhaps those dimples when he smiled melted her heart? Or perhaps how he never gave up on her?

Neither could bring themselves to kill the other, they always clashed and hurt each other, physically and emotionally, but they could never bring themselves to end the other, despite how many times the other had them cornered.
Both of them also tried to reason with the other: Lloyd to join the Sons of Garmadon, Harumi to join the Resistance.

Thankfully, all that is behind them now. Now, they are much happier.

In the early hours of standard Ninjagian time, the Monastery was quiet. For once, everyone was asleep. No one was training, no one was up late gaming, or running from an electric chicken..

In one of the eleven bedrooms, laid a young couple. The female had her beautiful white hair in a braid laced with an emerald green ribbon, she wore shorts and a strap tank top, seeing as it was currently a warm summer. Her face was buried in the naked chest of her boyfriend, his bare arm wrapped around her, holding her back for comforting support - it was normal for them to have nightmares, typically one would wake up from the other's frantic movements, then comfort them to help them calm down.

Their breathing was like a well-written song, perfection in rhythm.
Their hearts were beating on sync, their breathing slow and steady.

Then, at 6AM, their alarm went off.
Lloyd, being the closest to the nightstand it was sat on, reacted first.

He groaned as he turned his head to look where it was, instantly grumbling as the sun shot its early morning rays through the blind and into the Green Ninja's eyes.
He squinted his eyes, removing his arm from around Harumi to turn it off. Once he had done so, he sighed in content: finally that deafening beeping was over.
