Citizens of Wizard City were running for cover. The griffin flew in all directions letting out ear piercing cries. It dove at some people to attack, but luckily they evaded the griffin before it had a chance to attack with its sharp black claws. Some wizards tried to kill the griffin, but all of their magical and physical attacks were ineffective. Unbeknownst to the people, in an ally a woman watched as the citizens ran for their lives, tried to kill the griffin and protected the young and elderly citizens. The woman had bronzed skin, long golden blonde hair in long pigtails and blue eyes. She wore black robes and boots and a black snake was perched on her shoulder.

"Cowards, Zephyros," sneered the woman, "every last one of them."

The snake chuckled. "Cowards, Cowards all of them," hissed Zephyros.

"I was hoping that Wizard City had at least one wizard smart enough to figure out how to destroy my creature," said the woman. The woman shrugged her shoulders. "Oh well," she said, "I'll just let the griffin kill everyone of Wizard City's pathetic wizards before I go."

Zephyros and the woman laughed wickedly.

"How did a griffin get in Wizard City?!" yelled a voice. It was Angela's.

"I don't know, ever since Letus was poisoned, some demons and monsters have been able to slip through the barrier," said another voice. It was Barry's.

The woman peered from the corner of the ally and watched the two young wizards closely as they battled the griffin. The griffin flew straight towards Angela, ready to strike. Angela drew her staff. She held it out, waved the staff in formation and chanted a spell.

"Ten Ynroht!" She chanted.

A net made of rose thorns and rose stems appeared and ensnared the griffin. The griffin struggled in the net and shrieked in pain.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," said Angela, "my thorny net not only ensnares demons, it causes pain if you move."

Despite this however, the griffin unsheathed its claws and tore through the net. Angela was surprised because no one has been able to break free from this net before.

"Unless you do that," sighed Angela, "I had a feeling that was too easy."

The griffin sprang up into the sky, away from the remainders of the net. The griffin dove down from the sky and before she could get away, the griffin grabbed Angela with its feet. The griffin took her high up. Angela tried to shake her way out of the griffin's grip, but the griffin had a very tight grip. Angela looked down. She saw Barry chasing after her and the griffin. Angela also felt dizzy, she was not afraid of heights but she can get airsick really easy.

"Hang tight," called Barry to Angela, "help is on the way!"

Angela almost puked. "Hurry up then! I'm getting airsick!" said Angela.

Just then, an icy whip struck the griffin's left wing. The griffin cries in agony, it's wing was frozen and it was forced to drop Angela. As Angela fell, she landed on a small storm cloud that flew her down. When Angela refocused herself after her near death experience, she saw her friends Ellen, Maya, Lily, Sami, Troy, Jesse and Hiro running to her aid.

"Are you okay?" Asked Hiro, who looked unusually concerned.

"I'm fine," said Angela, "you know, I used to feel bad when people ate griffin meat. BUT NOT ANYMORE!"

"So you're going carnivore?" Asked Barry.

Angela frowned. "Don't go psychopath on me," she said, "and by the way, thanks for such HELPFUL help. 'Hang tight', I was up in the air in a berserk griffin's grip! I couldn't hang any tighter if I tried!"
