Chapter Two Voyage to Wizard City: Dumb and Dumber The Giants

My friends and I were awoken by the crashing and shaking of the cave.

"What's happening?" screamed Sami.

"I don't know," said Lily.

"Cavequake!" screamed Maya, "let's get out of here! The cave is going to close in if it keeps shaking like this!"

We all ran outside. When we got outside, we were shocked to have seen what we had found. Two dark green, ugly giant trolls wearing ragged togas and carrying spiked clubs were smacking the cave with their clubs.

"We have come for the brats of the Magical Elements," spoke one of the trolls, "in the name of Lord Dark One!"

We knew what these trolls were talking about. The Magical Elements was a group formed by our mothers' that traveled the world fighting monsters and evil wizards, like these trolls and the Dark One for example.

"Any objections to a fight instead of flight?" Asked Sami.

We all shook our heads. "We got nothing better to do," I said.

Sami activated her demon state. She began to look like a person made out of fire, which is what all fire demons look like.

"Let's do it," she said.

We all agreed and charged forward. Sami began to shoot multiple fireballs from her fingertips, but failed because a magical barrier protected both of them. This puzzled me because trolls cannot learn spells that are this strong against fire.

"That young wizard shoots fire, brother," said one of the trolls.

"I saw her brother," said the other troll, "perhaps we'll use her as ammo to destroy the others."

"Our true objectives is to capture them brother, not destroy," said the other troll, "those were our orders. You never listen, do....AHHHHHH!"

The troll was interrupted when he got hit with Lily's lightning. The troll stricken by lightning fell backwards and crushed the cave. However, he was not dead.

"It will take more than puny lightning bolt to kill me," said the troll, "you children are outmatched!"

The troll struck by lightning charged at us, swinging his giant club with spikes as if he was ready to strike. Maya summoned an army of zombies using the "Call of the Undead" spell. Zombies began to appear from the ground and of course the zombie army barely made it because they were stepped on by the trolls as they charged towards us. Ellen was shooting ice beams at the trolls, but they didn't make them freeze. When the troll struck, I was able to summon a "Tree Barrier" shield spell to shield us from his club. It was hard to endure his force, but I sorta managed. When it was safe to undo the spell I was very relieved because that spell sucks my energy like a vampire sucks blood the longer I have the spell in use. Spells that take a lot of energy from you are harder to do outside of a magic duel because in a magic duel, the magic field is flowing with magical so you are technically breathing in magic when your inside a magic field. The other troll started waving his club, as if he were about to cast a spell. By the way, did I mention that monsters can cast spells, too? However, unlike wizards, monsters can only do spells that match their element or so I thought.

"SEDAH FO YRMA DAEDNU!" the troll chanted.

A skeleton army appeared from the ground. Each skeleton wore armor helmets, armor chest plates and carried a dagger. I think Maya might be jealous, all her undead minions are dressed like gentlemen and carry a shovel, there's nothing intimidating about that. We were shocked when we saw the skeleton army, monsters can only do spells of their own element. The trolls' element was Life and the troll just did a death spells! This defies the laws of nature.....well...all laws of the magical nature, I guess I should say defies all known magical logic, yeah that sounds better. We fought the skeletons hand to hand because we had to conserve our magic energy to battle the trolls. The skeletons were easy to defeat. One punch and BOOM! A pile of bones, however the real challenge was that the army kept coming back from the dead. Then Lily casted the "Poseidon's Flood" spell to wipe away the entire army. Next Sami charged forward while shooting multiple fire blasts to weaken the trolls. Ellen backed the trolls down with her blizzard spell. It seemed like we're finally getting the upper hand. Maya summoned dark fairies to literally suck the life out of the trolls. Don't let dark fairies just because their fairies; they are as vicious as a six headed hydra. We were about ready to finish them off. However, one of the trolls slammed his club on the ground which caused an earthquake that knocked us all hard onto the ground. My friends had it easy, they slammed flat on their backs on the nice soft ground while I slammed onto a rock.
