He ran his hands up and down me. I wrapped my legs around him. His body pressed against mine in a frenzy of heat and passion. Our bodies fight against the desire to take it even further.
I let out a small moan.
I couldn't see him, but I felt his touch, and his presence felt so familiar. But who was it?
"Don't worry, love." He said, his voice making my heart skip a beat. "When I find you, you will always be mine."
I gasped awake. My forehead was laced with sweat. Putting my hand on my heart, I could still feel it beating rapidly.
Was that even a dream? Why do I keep dreaming about him?
My fingers crept up to my lips. That felt too real to be a dream.
Every time I dream about him, my curiosity grows. I need to find out who he is, and what he wants from me.
I gently slap my face, hopping out of bed. I need to shower. While in the shower, I pondered for a minute before scrubbing my skin. These thoughts were beginning to haunt my mind.
I was starting to get dreams of him more often. They were always different, but it was always the same man. The same voice... same intimacy.
I had a weird thought one time. It felt like I had figured out why I kept dreaming about him. Maybe, just maybe, those dreams are real. But it just hasn't happened yet.
It's like I'm dreaming about the future and things that might actually become true.
I paused. If I'm right.. Then him and I.. God! No! I shake my head, my cheeks heat up from my thoughts.
There was no way I could predict what these dreams would ultimately reveal. However, I was becoming concerned about it.
I walked downstairs to see Stefan and Elena digging through a box full of old collectables and photo albums.
"What's going on?" I asked, looking at them strangely.
They both gave each other sceptical looks. I saw Elena slightly shaking her head while Stefan just shrugged.
"We need your help." Stefan blurted out.
I cross my arms. "With what?"
Stefan stands up. "I lied to Damon and told him I would help him get Katherine out of the tomb. But he assumes Elena will help too. And seeing how he trusts you-"
I scoffed. "You're kidding right?" I look down. "I said some--not so nice stuff at the dance. I just wanted to be rid of Damon. He probably hates me now."
Stefan and Elena look at each other. "I don't really want to help get his crazy vampire ex-girlfriend out of a tomb she's been in for nearly 2 centuries." I run my hand through my hair.
"Angelina, I'm not trying to help him. I understand you might've said some mean things, but Damon doesn't care. He never has. Just please stop him, Angelina. This will be the last time."
"With this plan, Damon will leave town. For good." He looks at me.
With a deep sigh, I look at Elena. She gives me a small smile, which I don't return. "What happened to all the other times you said that, Stefan?" I smirk with no emotion.
"You guys always came back." I whispered coldly. I rush back upstairs.

I felt betrayed the next day. I sat in the kitchen, all moody and glum since Elena told me Stefan and Damon were coming over for dinner tonight.
