"Are you sure you're alright?" Jenna asked in a worried tone, holding an ice pack to my forehead.
"I'm fine, Jenna." I said, trying to persuade her. I take the ice pack out of her hand and lean on the couch.
I've had a fever and chills since I woke up from my dream last night.
I mean, are they even dreams at this point? I'm starting to wonder if I'm going crazy or if these are dreams or some kind of prophecy, because it feels too real every time to be a dream.
Whatever it is, I need to figure it out.
But Elena, Stefan, Damon, Bonnie and her Grams were all there. So just what are these dreams indicating? The future? I have no idea.
"Look, Ang. Until I find out what happened to Elena, just stay here and rest okay?" She smiles at me, grabbing her purse and keys.
A feeling arises in my stomach. "What do you mean?" I asked.
"Elena didn't come home last night. Do you know where she is?" She stops at the front door.
Knowing this is anything but good, and very much supernatural related, I take one for the team. "Um, she's at Bonnie's. Us three were going to have a sleepover, but I started feeling sick so I came home. I forgot to tell you." I lied.
Jenna huffs and puts her purse and keys away. A deep breath flows out of my mouth.
"You kids are giving me grey hairs already." She muttered while walking upstairs.
Holy shit, she believed me! I'm such a good liar! I pat myself on the back, a smile on my face.
I grab my phone off the coffee table and dial Stefan.
"Hello?"
"Edward Cullen, care to explain where my sister is?"
I threw the ice pack in the bin aggressively since it wasn't helping my headache in any way. I tried massaging my temples to ease the high ringing pitch in my ears.
I hear Stefan sigh on the other line.
"I have things under control, Ang. Anna is too dangerous. You shouldn't be a part of this."
I scoffed. "Stefan, do you know how offensive that is? You and your dick of a brother have dragged me, and my family into this shit way too far anyway. I have nothing to lose anymore."
"So stay where you are. I'm coming to you." I say before hanging up.
I stare at Jenna's car keys before grabbing them and bolting out the door. I jump into the car and zoom to the Boarding House.
When I burst through the door, I'm met with Stefan who looks very frantic.
"What's going on, Stefan?" I demanded.
He paced around the room. "Anna called. She has both Elena and Bonnie. She wants to meet me alone at the town square. In thirty minutes."
I nod. "And asking Damon won't work?"
"Nope. He's still pissed about last night." I roll my eyes.
"That's childish. But-" Stefan snaps his head to me. "Why didn't you just go to Sheila?"
"I- I didn't think she'd say yes."
"Stefan. Are you kidding me? Bonnie is her granddaughter. She'd be more than willing to do a locator spell." I grab my keys and we head to the car.
And once again, I am right. Sheila did the locator spell. Stefan told me to stay back in case Anna brought backup. I just hope Bonnie and Elena are okay.
