1.The ambush and accident

Adrian POV

"Hello, I'm Adrian. I'm in a car with my loyal friend and partner, Samuel. We've been friends since childhood, and he's been by my side throughout my training to become a professional assassin. Now, I'm one of the most well-known and powerful mafia figures.

Both of us are orphans; our parents abandoned us and left us in an orphanage. A year later, they each started new families without us. This is why we want to become rich, to show them that we can succeed without their help. I know being an assassin and a mafia lord is seen as bad, but what can Samuel and I do if we enjoy our work? Right now, we're heading to a large auction, and Samuel is driving.

"We're heading to the auction," Samuel stated.

"Ok, let's go," I replied, looking at him. As Samuel drove, I sensed that we were being followed.

"Samuel, do you feel it too? They've been following us for a while," I said, looking back.

"Yes, we need to find a different route," Samuel replied.

"That's better, go now."

We changed our route to lose our pursuers, but danger was already waiting for us.

"Damn!! What's happening now? Where are our allies, Samuel?"

"They're dead. I tried to contact them, but they didn't answer," he replied.

We were surrounded by multiple men, and Samuel and I tried to fight them, even though we knew we were likely to lose.

"There are so many of them," Samuel said.

"Yeah, and I think even if this is the last time we fight together, I'm enjoying it," I said, smiling.

"Yeah, I like it. To think this is the last fight that we are together, I'm happy," he replied.

"Yes, thank you for being my friend and my trusted companion," I replied.

I held a grenade, pulled the pin, and dropped it on the ground.

"Goodbye, motherf***ers. See you in hell," I said, laughing like a madman.

"See you again, buddy," I said to Samuel.

"Yeah, see you again," he replied with a smile.

And boom, the grenade exploded, killing half of their enemies with them.

ANGELO POV

Hello, I'm Angelo. I'm here in the palace, walking around the hallways. I always do this to relax and then go to the garden. While walking to the garden, I saw my two older brothers and tried to greet them.

"Hi, big brothers," I said, smiling.

They ignored me, as if I wasn't there. They didn't even glance at me when I greeted them. It's always like this; they ignore me all the time, as if I'm just air. They don't even invite me to dinner. Because of this, I feel lonely and like I don't belong here.

I'm now in the garden, hiding in a tree. I'm really sad and I'm crying. After I cried, I looked at the wall, jumped over it, and went outside. There's a forest near the palace, so I went deep into the forest. I'm thinking about staying here all night because I'm 100% sure no one in the palace will look for me - they don't care about me.

sigh I'm crying again! I hate it. I should stop caring about them, about my family - if I can even call it a family. They don't treat me like one. They ignore me every time they see me, even my own father. They shout at me if I try to talk to them. When they look at me, it's with hatred, even though I've done nothing to them. They even abandoned me in the east side of the palace, in the east palace where there are no guards and even the maids don't go there. That's why, even though I'm a prince, I have to do everything in my room, like cleaning up, washing my clothes, and even going to the kitchen to get my snacks and dinner.

"The forest is so beautiful, and I think this is the most beautiful place to watch the stars," I said, looking at the beautiful sunset and waiting to see the beautiful night sky.

I suddenly heard a scary sound not far away and decided to take a look. While looking, I took a wrong step and fell off a nearby cliff. I closed my eyes and felt the pain. I suddenly remembered my family. Even though they don't love me, I love them. I closed my eyes and everything went black.
