"Oh." That' all that Lor says when I finish recounting the past few weeks. From Maia escaping to the Bio Banquet to our therapy sessions. I tell the story with fluidity and with out tears or sadness, which is a god sign. Of what, I'm not sure.

I nod, then remember I have a meeting in five minutes.

"You want to stay at my house Lor?" I ask hastily while gathering my things.

"Sure, but-"

"I-I have to go, really, go to my house and get settled. We'll talk later. Markson will take you." I say while rushing out the door, leaving a slightly confused blonde girl in the office.

Usually work lets me forget about any social problems, mostly because I have to put all my energy and attention into it, or else I won't really be doing much. It's hard enough running a large company, and doing it while being only 22 and with some people doubting you. So, I've gotten used to leaving everything else but work outside the conference room.

This time was no different than any other, but as soon as I left the meeting, I found myself suffocated, and gasping for air. Thankfully, no one was around to see my little meltdown, but it still hurt. I need to leave. Leave what though? The office? The job itself? Zach? Oh no...

I approach Deb to let her know I'll be leaving for the day.

"Of course Miss Rembrandt, just, remember you have a...session, today at four." She whispers the last part. Really, I don't care if anyone knows except for Will. If he knows that Zach and I attend group therapy he will be all over us like a moth to a flame.

"Thank you, I almost forgot." I say, trutfully. I check my watch and nearly shriek at the time. It's already three twenty! All the excitement with Lor made me forget it's Thursday, our next appointment. A knot forms in my stomach just thinking about it.

Markson takes me home, and I find myself missing my car, driving it. Will calls me on the way home, and I hesitate in answering it.

"He cares about you as if you were his daughter, above being your coworker." Markson says, trying to talk sense into me. It works, because I decide to answer the call.

"Yes?" I muster out while giving a smile to Markson. i guess he has my back too.

"I needed to talk to you before you left today."

"We did. At the meeting. I have another, uh,  commitment to attend to." I blush, which is stupid an pointless. Stupid girl emotions

"No, it's something else. Since you or Deb won't get back to People Magazine, they keep pestering me about a four page spread on you. I need you to tell them your answer-"

"I already did! I told them no!"

"I think you should do it." I groan.

"No. I'll just be giving them what they want, and I don't need to explain everything to everyone, I can't explain it myself..." I trail off.

"Emma-"

"No, I already told you-"

"They're offering ten thousand dollars for the interview."

"It's not about the money, I have more money than I need. Money doesn't solve anything. Why would they pay so much anyway?" I say bitterly. I fidget with my charm bracelet.

"Nobody else has a solid interview, not with you or Zach. Who ever has it will obviously make a lot of money. They'll do whatever it-"

"Well, my no still stands." I snap before I end the call.
