It's been a week since I've been here and I don't wanna lie, my mind has never been this relaxed. I'm also able to study for my final exams cause in a month and a half I'll be writing. Another thing is my phone has been off. I promised Andiswa to call her once a week so, since it's Saturday, imma just switch on my phone and call her. I grabbed my phone from the table and switched it on. Whilst I wait, I went to the kitchen to make myself some tea.
Whilst in the kitchen, I heard so many messages come in and damn, people can't live without me. It's only been a week. When I finished making my coffee, I went back to the sitting room and sat down on the couch and grabbed my phone. I saw multiple missed call messages from Aunt Khanyi, but I ignored them. She's the reason I'm here and I honestly just needed space from her. I video called Andiswa then she answered after a long while.
-Sorry, I took long. Had to run to my room.
-It's cool. How are things?
-They're good. I just miss annoying you, but man, I guess I'm alive.
-At least I get a break.
-So heartless. Don't you miss me?
-Just a little.
-You know what. You are not worth it.
-What are you up to?
-Movie night.
-Oh yeahhhh.
-Yah. So we are watching a movie down in the theatre.
-Go back then. You'll call me when you done.
-Nah I'm good. What are you up to?
-Nothing really. Just getting some work done for the exams, and most importantly relaxing.
-We can never forget relaxing. I mean that's why you left.
-Yeah.
-Anyways, your dad has been asking about you. Can I tell him you're fine?
-Yeah, sure.
-So, have you decided when you will be back?
-Imma still keep that to myself.
-Your're annoying.
-Andiswa let me go then. I really wanna stay away from my phone.
-Are you gonna switch it off now?
-Yes.
-Okay. We'll talk again next week then.
-Yeah, bye.
-Bye.
I hang up then just check a few WhatsApp messages. I ignore the one sent by Aunt Khanyi and answer a few. When I'm done I switch off my phone then put it on the table. I switch on the TV and put on YouTube. I switch on the soundbar then play Brett Young's music whilst I drink my tea.

KHANYISILE'S POV
Andiswa finally came back to the theatre with a smile on her face. "Who was that?" I ask then she looks at me. "Oh, uhm it was Sims." She says then I felt my heart skip a beat from the mention of her name. I just nod my head and look at the screen. I honestly wish she was here right now, watching this movie with us, but I guess I'm also the reason she up and left. "Oh and Uncle B, she said I must tell you she's okay." She adds on then he turns around. "Any idea where she is?" He asks. "None. She just wanted to get away from everything. That's all she told me." She says then I let out the lowest sigh ever.
