"Hey." She says with a nervous smile. I let out a breath then look outside. I move to the side then she gets in with a suitcase. "What- like- bro, what do you want from me?" I ask after I close the door. "I need us to talk." She says then I let out a heavy sigh. "Talking to you is starting to get tiring." I say walking out to the patio. I hear her footsteps behind me, following me. "Should I close?" She asks then I nod my head.
I grab my J then realise it switched off. I light it again then take a long ass pull. "You smoke?" She asks. I just nod my head as I breathed out the smoke. "Since when?" She asks. "What now? Will this be another problem for you?" I ask pulling again. She shakes her head. "No. Just curious." She says. "Do you want to talk, or not right now?" She asks. "I don't think I want to talk at all." I say shaking my head. "Why?" She asks lowly. "Because every time we talk, we fight." I say pulling from the J again. "We won't fight this time. I promise." She says then I look at her. Not gonna lie, kinda missed seeing her face, but it's been kinda peaceful without seeing it too.
"Fine." I say after letting out a sigh. "Well, so I listened to the song." She says then I nod my head. I take one last pull finishing the J, then put it on the table. "And that's the reason I'm here." She says then I shrug my shoulders. "Okay, so what do you want me to say?" I ask putting my leg up and folding it in a figure four. "Did you read the message I sent?" She asks skeptically. "No." I say. "Please read it." She says. "My phone is in the house. Besides it's switched off." I say shaking my head. She takes her phone from the table and unlocks it. She does something then hands it to me. I take it and see it open on my chat. I let out a sigh as I look at the message.
It read,
uh, hey Sims. I hope you are well. I was hoping to have this conversation in person, but seeing as you are not here, and you might not be coming back anytime soon, I thought I should still address it.Last night, I listened to the song, and to say I didn't sleep would be an understatement. Sims, I don't know if I haven't made it clear, but I did fall for you. I was willing to leave your father, but last night just made me doubt everything.
I'm struggling to get over the fact that you and my daughter slept together. I know I don't have a right to be mad, but I actually saw myself having something with you.
I stopped reading it, cause it was longer. There was an entire "read more" after what I read, and I was not about to read all that. "Aunt Khanyi-" she stops me. "You can just call me Khanyi." She says then I chuckle. "Okay, where is this message going. I don't wanna read it all, and besides, you said you wanted to have this conversation in person, so here I am. Talk." I say looking at her.
"Sims, I like you too. I'm literally fighting myself everyday because of this. From the first time I saw you, I knew there was something there, I just ignored it, because of obvious reasons, but now we are at this point, and I keep falling harder and harder for you. Again, I'm still fighting with myself, cause I hate this, but I can't do anything about it." She says then I let out a breath. "Eh bruh, I'm not gonna lie to you, I feel like, you did like me, until you found out about Andiswa. That is something you never gonna get over, and that's okay, I won't fight it, but don't sit there and lie to my face talking all this bullshit. You and I both know damn well you are just scared to lose your sex partner-" she cuts me off. "Now you know that's not true." She says then I shake my head and sit back.
"Nah, you know what, I don't even know why you came here. You literally just confirmed what I've been thinking." I say then stand up. I walk to the sliding door but she holds my hand. "Sims I came here because I want to fix things. You are pushing me away, and you don't know how much that hurts." She says standing up too. "Ey, look here. Hurts, doesn't hurt. You'll get over it. Bruh, you deadass looked at me like I was filthy after I told you about Andiswa. And that's when it actually clicked to me that, actually no man. I actually liked you more, and cared more, than you did for me." I say pointing at her.
