I get woken up by a loud ass sound then slowly open my eyes. I realise it's my phone then switch off my alarm and rub my eyes. Again, last night's events filled my head. At this point I feel like I'm starting to not regret my choices. I mean I keep doing this, so clearly I like it. Maybe it's the thrill. I forget about that then get out of bed. I go brush my teeth and wash my face. I go back to the room and thank God for waking me up. I then go to the bathroom then open the shower water. I get my towels from my bag then get inside the shower.

After showering, I moisturise then put on my black Versace briefs and sports bra. I spray on some body spray then put on my sweats. I lay on my bed as I wait for the time to be eight.

After thirty minutes, eight hit then I got my phone and went to my fathers room. I knocked then the door opened. "Good morning." He says with a smile on his face. "Morning." I say getting in. "Today is gonna be a great day." He says then I nod my head and smile. "Yes it will." I say then someone knocks on the door. The groomsmen enter the room then I excuse myself after greeting and go to the balcony.

I don't like how I'm thinking about Aunt Khanyi so much. I mean, when I went to her place yesterday, I knew why I was going, and it must end there. I don't know what she is doing or planning on gaining from this, but I don't like how I'm allowing myself to fall for what she is doing. I wish I had weed right now, but my father doesn't know I smoke it anyways, so that wouldn't work. I force myself to forget about this shit and just get inside the room. I have to be happy with my father. Despite what I'm doing behind his back. "Poured you a glass." My dad says giving me a glass. "Thank you." I say taking it. Today will be a good day.

After talking and relaxing for a while, we finally decide to get ready. After getting dressed, I help my father. "I'm so happy you're here with me. Thank you for accepting her." My dad says when I give him his jacket. "You deserve this honestly." I say holding his shoulder. "Ahhhh let's do." He says shaking himself. "Okay, let's pray and bless this day before all that. We don't want mistakes." I say. "Damn right." Thami's dad says. We hold hands then ask God to bless this day and that everything goes well. The time now is half past nine. We all go down to the car and drive to the venue. We get out of the car then stand at the end of the aisle.

A Million Ways by Will Downing played then my dad walked down the aisle first. He greeted his parents and her family then stood in his place. I followed then stood behind him. The rest of the groomsmen followed then we all stood there waiting. "Relax. She's yours already." I say to my dad then he nods his head and takes in a deep breath. There You Are by Sam Salter played and the brides wedding party walked in. The song stopped then I felt my heart beat out of my chest now. Why am I nervous. Damn. Forever by Damage played through the speakers and all the guests stood up. And then she appeared.

Fuck. I got goosebumps on my arms as I watched her walk towards my dad. Her veil was not down since she has a child out of wedlock, so I could see her face. Hand in hand with her father, they got closer. The struggle I went through to stop myself from biting my lip was crazy. I let out a breath then she got to us. Her father handed her to my father then he took her hand. "Wow." I heard my dad mutter. He was not crying a lot, but there were a few tears of joy here and there that he managed to wipe.

It was time for the rings now. My dad was starting. I gave him her ring.

"You are going to repeat after me." The pastor says to my dad. "I Banele Dlamini take Khanyisile Sibiya." He starts then my dad repeats. "To be my lawfully wedded wife." The pastor says and my dad repeats. "to have and to hold, from this day forward." He repeats. "for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health." He repeats. "until death do us part." He repeats then the guests cheer and I smile. Man this is cute. Now it was Aunt Khanyi's turn. "I Khanyisile Sibiya take Banele Dlamini." She repeats. "To be my lawfully wedded husband." The pastor says. She stays quiet for a while then I look at her.
